I'm pleased Wilshere was not saying it about Gateshead...

Hi all,
As you all (Should) know in the past I have heavily criticized Durham city centre and through no fault of mine (But I won't mention any any names) this whole 'Durham thing' has been blown out of proportion. I know where I live, Wrekenton, is a dump, so I can't really say anything,  but after spending a couple of hours in Durham yesterday, I have to say, my opinion has completely changed 100% positively, and I will be attending the bus rally tomorrow (Although I won't have long as I want to spend most of the day with my dad). I admit and hold my hands up, I was wrong to say them negative comments and for that, I apologise.

Congratulations on this fantastic news.

I'm genuinely pleased for you both.

Good luck for tomorrow and the future!

For gods sake. Any need to report this to a newspaper?

If it was the Northern Echo and an Arriva driver, the gesture would have knocked someone over. Wink Big Grin

If it was the Northern Echo it would be turned into an argument that Darlington needs a bus station.

Do think it is a bit OTT to put this in a paper. The photo has also appeared on his photostream.

My thoughts when this happens to me is, you (T-word) that's going in the Have You Ever thread.

Either way you will need to get a Bus to Durham, and get on the 43/44 and get off at Mountsett Garage, the Crem is a short walk from there.
