Wrong - that has been branded for the 7 (by mistake)

7538?

Was told tonight that 7538/39 are the ones allocated to Durham presently, with 7540 now at Darlington.

More than likely as I'm sure 7534/5/6/7 and 7540 have all been branded for the 7. Could be wrong, though.

Also possible that 7539 is the one which will just be in generic Sapphire, rather than one due to receive 24 branding.

I was told that 7540 was to get the 7 branding removed and the correct branding put on unless they have decide to keep the 7 branding on now

Just seen 7539 in Durham and it only has basic Sapphire branding.

When they realised 7540 had the wrong vinyls, it was arranged for Durham to take 7538 from Darlington as it hadn't received all of its vinyls.

Pulsar 1417 has failed in Park Lane. An engineer is repairing it now.
RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - April 2015
Stockton's fleet of 61 plate Pulsars (1484-92/94) have been fitted with wifi for use on service 15 in the future. New branding is set to be introduced across the North East based on the benefits of frequent local services on this, the 7 (Yarm), 63 in Redcar and 13s in Darlington to start with.

1464 is the first Pulsar to transfer to Stockton from Durham, though it is not out today. Nor are any of the MAX Pulsars so I wonder if there's a reason for that

Apart from the one that worked the 0721 X12 from Stockton this morning - sighted at Grindon this morning as I was heading into town in the family car Wink

Shildon and Bishop are deep chav territory.

If you want to see rough holes jump on the 5/5A between Bishop and Shildon and additionally Jubilee Estate in Shildon on the 5A.

Sounds like you are doing a spot of chav spotting based on your other posts today. Although I often sit on buses thinking oh God, should have seen the passenger on the 5 the other day, was shouting at the driver to turn the announcements up and shouted at me to take a photo of him as I still had my camera round my neck.

Big delays to Services X1/1/2/3/19 due to this - buses diverting up Northgate and then going on to Brinkburn Road, to get to West Auckland Road. North Road is busier than usual so pretty much most services are delayed.

I don't like Darlington Town Centre that much for photos as it is just a mess with traffic on Tubwell Row and people walking everywhere.

Also went off the place after I thought some bloke was going to punch me for no reason what so ever.

Unfortunately I am likely to be there tomorrow morning on my way to the 500 Group running day - the driver on the 5A/19 better not sit on Northgate until the 19's departure time like a driver did the other week

I don't think Chester-le-Street is too bad, it's a bit of a mess due to the road closures at the moment.

There have been buses all over the place, got a good couple of pics of some on diversion down Corporation Road (?).
North Road wasn't very bad when I went on it 30 mins ago ish. Just wish this bus would get to Durham already though!

No doubt North Road is busier with this stupid idiot resulting in the road closure of Bondgate as people will be finding alternative routes in and out of Darlington.

Driver stated to all the passengers it was a diesel leak. I don't think he was too impressed!
