The brand is below.
I wouldnt think that the required B10 would be branded either.

None of the Cadets or Renowns at Deptford have "Colour" Destination Displays, so just the Lettering/Numbering will be changed to Arial on them, whereas the rest or should I say the vast majority of Vehicles at Deptford do have "Colour" Destination Displays and the Numbers will go White.

What about 4908 and 4909? I believe they have colour displays.

I wonder if a few Cadets between Washington and Deptford will swap Depots, as if the current Northern Branded Cadets are Branded alongside the Go North East Examples, then the "Black Cats" Branded Vehicles will be two different tones of Red.

Done a quick Flickr Search, 4909 certainly does or did have a colour blind from its days on the X7, But 4908 doesnt I dont think as I cant find any photos of it with a Coloured Number, 4909 has been reset to show an Amber Number from looking at recent photos.

It seems that these two were formerly in service with TGM/Classic.

Maybe, that's a good point, however only 3 of the Cadets at Washington are from 2004 and are "Go North East"... means it will still be left with 2 Northern ones.

With immediate effect, the Sunderland bound side of Chester Road at The Broadway in Sunderland has been closed due to a gas leak in this area.
All inbound buses operating Services 2/2A, 8, 78/78A will be diverted from The Grindon Inn into Pennywell Road, then Nookside to the far end, then Chester Road roundabout to normal route.

Buses to serve existing stops on Nookside towards Sunderland.

Services departing from Sunderland are unaffected at this time.

(29 May 2015, 5:50 pm)park5354 wrote as does 4842.

The colour route number destination displays in 4842 are already earmarked to be placed in another vehicle when it reaches Saltmeadows Rd... Any colour route number destination displays in older corporate liveried vehicles will be removed eventually, and these will be put in newer branded vehicles that currently have LEDs only. The aim of the game is to get complete sets together, so that there aren't a mix and match of different destination displays in branded vehicles.

Most of the "QuayLink" branded vehicles have recently gained colour route number displays from dual-door Volvo B7TLs at Riverside.

I believe these two are to be joined by a third coach from Dawson Rentals, and will see use at Hexham (possibly in addition to 7093?) from Monday on scholars services until the former Driver Training coaches (7087/90/92) are available for collection from Thornton's.

Unless the remaining Cadets (8258/59/67/71/72 & 8273) are Repainted in the coming weeks at Saltmeadows and Branding is applied at a later date.

Maybe as i think it might be a few more weeks before the first "Black Cats" is branded, hence why the timetable with the brand on was took off the site and hasn't being put it back on.

Wonder if 4841 will donate it coloured blind to 4940, as this still has flip dots fitted throughout.

4846, 4906, 4907 should donate their coloured fronts to 4967, 5218 and 5227.

Riverside also have 6084 and 3963 with coloured fronts, but there is a TTX which has plain orange front.

Wonder if the toonlink volvos could donate their rear displays to the rear of the TEN deckers.

That's 6046, Ten branded 6073 is the same.

I think 6073 is still at the front of the queue!

It'll be a candidate for preservation by the time Riverside pull their finger out mind. Smile

It was reported that 6073 was given a standard LED display after accident damage, but pretty sure that was almost 12 months ago now.

Yes, 4940 is at the top of the list to have its flipdot destination displays replaced as it's the only branded Scania L94UB in the fleet now without LEDs. I do have a list of potential 'destination cascades' but I shan't bore you all and it will take time to implement. It takes into consideration the branded vehicles in the fleet which have had their colour destinations removed in the past for various reasons and haven't had them replaced as destinations are incredibly costly!

Volvo B7TL 3963 can't donate its destinations to a Volvo B9TL as its destination is a colour 160x19 (like the OmniCitys), whereas all other Volvo B9TLs in the fleet are 144x19.

Most of the "Toon Link" Volvo B10BLEs have no destinations at all or flipdots, to my memory. Regardless of that, the cost would be quite significant to start retrofitting 128x17 full rear destination displays to replace smaller 32x17s, so I doubt the small rear displays for the "TEN" branded vehicles will be replaced.

Sorry, I meant the front displays from the toon link b10's.

Anyhow, perhaps the side and rear displays from 5166-71 may be a cheaper alternative as they are smaller, although the black surround would need slight amendment.

Perhaps the entire front displays from 5144-71 could be used to update the pvl presidents that still have flip dots, as well as a couple Vykings that still have flip dots.

I reckon that by 2nd January 2016, the entire fleet will have led front displays.

This is extra information on NCC terminating ALL of their contracts though, not just being excluded from the newly tendered ones. This will include all of their public service contracts eg 880/882 and other less frequent services, including the 808 into Newcastle

I haven't read the article yet and it may suggest otherwise, but I think Howard Snaiths' remaining contracts are available from August. Could this explain why smaller sized vehicles in Go North East's fleet are gaining seat belts? Yellow Dennis MPD 618 (NK55 RUV), which is currently based at Peterlee, is also presently at Thorntons, for said treatment...

Do you know if GNE are taking over the 880/882 too?

Think it'll be really good if they do.

8307 on 2 needs a purple repaint as all the bottom rear is showing ex drifter green looks a mess
8267 and 3981 on 39 following each other yet it's a 20 min frequency on sat.
