I nearly fell through a seat on a Pacer when I was with my brother. I wouldn't be able to get a refund because it wouldn't be their fault that I fell through a badly maintained seat.  Wink

Go North East still need to remove the Soccer bus from the tabs for branded services, same as the Great Park, since technically the "Great Park" brand isn't on any vehicles......

Ooo Friend, Bus Friend.

Even though there's no vehicles branded "Soccerbus", the name is still carried on in marketing and suchlike. There was only one vehicle branded in the later years anyway, but the PVR was greater than that.

Great Park will be removed next month.

I didn't see you. I got off 6093 and was at the zebra crossing when 8334 came round the Royal Oak corner. I would have came and said hello otherwise.

Just waited in vain at Corbridge 'Station Road' from 17:08 to 17:48 for a TEN towards Hexham - as it was raining - without one turning up.
Should have been a TEN @ 17:00 (so probably just missed it) and one at 17:30 (definitely didn't arrive or pass me).
By the time I walked into Corbridge (in drizzle) the 18:00 TEN caught up with me . . .  Angry

There were a dozen folk that got off the train from Newcastle heading for the Angel (in Corbridge) who would have joined me on the 17:30 if it had turned up but ended up walking.

X84/X85 appear to be running on time at the moment.

How long was a B9 on the 688 for today? The 11:43 from Hexham, and the return journey, was operated by 5210.

I must tell you that you are wrong - I had 5210 and it was a cracking route. Allendale is a lovely place but the cafe there is very expensive. Would thourougly recommend the route!

Also, has 4843 been withdrawn yet, I saw it on the X25.

I must tell you that vehicles can be swapped throughout the day.
If 4843 is in service, it most likely has not been withdrawn.

Considering it's a 1998 example, I would have thought it had been withdrawn like other 1998 Renowns. Perhaps it has returned to cover for missing vehicles.

Can't wait to upload my photo of "TEN" branded Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 6078 (NK62 FHE) on the 688, given that I was wrong!

It was allocated to the following:
  • 08:55am #688 (Hexham Rail Station - Allenheads)
  • 09:44am #688 (Allenheads - Hexham Rail Station)
  • 10:35am #688 (Hexham Rail Station - Allendale)
  • 11:04am #688 (Allendale - Hexham Rail Station)
  • 11:40am #688 (Hexham Rail Station - Hexham Bus Station)
It was replaced by 5210 at this point, which was the earliest opportunity Hexham had to replace it.

Thanks, it's a shame I missed it. That would have made the route even more enjoyable.
