Even though there's a lot of anti-IOR people in Hartlepool who will be glad to see the back of Hodcroft, if it wasn't for him bankrolling us for the last 17/18 years, then chances are we wouldn't be an established FL club who are financially sound.

Tickets for Gateshead’s prestigious pre-season fixture with Newcastle United will go on sale at both Gateshead International Stadium and St James’ Park today.
The match will be all-ticket with allocated seating. Pricing as below:
Adults - £15
Concessions (60+) - £10
Students and 16 and 17-year-olds - £8
15-year-olds and under - £3 (Must be accompanied by an adult)
Gateshead supporters will be seated in the Tyne and Wear Stand, for which tickets will be available from the International Stadium at the following times:
Wednesday, 1st July: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, 2nd July: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday, 3rd July: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday 4th July: 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Gateshead season-tickets will also be available for collection at the above dates and times.
As this is an all-ticket fixture, season-ticket holders must collect both season- and match tickets at the same time. Admission to the match by season-ticket only will not be permitted. Flex 15 tickets do not qualify for free entry to this fixture.
Please note that Gateshead tickets cannot be purchased by phone or online.
Newcastle United supporters will be seated in the remaining three sides of the stadium and tickets will be available as follows:
