Robin is correct - 19641 has also transferred to Stagecoach North East. See the rightmost vehicle in the photograph below:

Ah right thanks Dan, sorry Robin, next time i'll do some research!

Are we gaining anymore or just the 7 we have got? (19641 isn't on our fleet list yet)

Yes robin I too stand corrected! Is this also destined for South Shields? I know that 3 are at shields already, 1 repainted and 2 still in Dundee livery

Maybe a few more have being bought/brought up for the E's to have a mixture of E300's and E400's with it being summer...

So 3 for the X34 (1 spare)

3 on the E's until they decide a date for when the X34 will go every 20 minutes.

When Stockton's 17 new ADL E300s enter service all of the non-DDA single deckers will be replaced including five DDA-compliant vehicles. Three 64-plate ADL E300s could be transferred to South Shields for the X20 when the X34 is increased to 20 minutes.

You really think Stockton will give up 3 64-reg E300s!? Considering at present, we have just 2 spares (36/37/38 is PVR 16 aka the full branded batch, and 52/35 is 7 leaving 2 unbranded ones spares), we'll be down to just 1 to cover what is likely to be 5 routes (36/37/38 PVR 16, 52/35 PVR 7, 58/35 PVR 4, 59/61 PVR 6 and likely 10/11 PVR 5).

Still 14 non DDA MANs in service at Stockton so can't see 5 DDAs coming off
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2015
34609 looks to be the first withdrawal at Slatyford as a result of the cascades from Shields - currently tucked away in the corner at Slatyford out of use.

They seem to be keeping Alpha Recovery busy at the minute too - 39715 was the example towed back to the depot this evening.

Only 12 officially allocated however - 22206/466 are both operating in a reserve capacity. Likelihood is that once 27238-54 enter service, 5 DDA MANs will be moving into the same role to see off the reserve non-DDA examples.

One of South Shields MAN ALX300s, which is currently on the 3/4/7/8 circuit, has recently had a rear advertisement applied.

Has some of the E400's gone to Shields because of capacity issues at Sunderland?

Just SC seems to like doing the re-paints at Sunderland or will it be swap for swap... once painted they'll send one to shields in exchange for a non repainted one?

I assume its at South Shields with 19462 being parked next to it all repainted.

Edit: Deffo is at South Shields, couldn't see it clearly on the link i have posted but 'Harton Nook' does appear on the line of text above the windows. It even says South Shields on the front next to the brand name...

I don't understand the name? Perhaps it's because I'm not local to understand the reference...

The idiom, "to connect the dots", means to draw logical inferences by connecting different pieces of information to reveal something previously unknown.

I get that the services these vehicles will be allocated to connect various places ('dots'?) to the town centre - but what is previously unknown about this, and what are we inferring?

Maybe I've read too much into it...

Maybe it's one of those things that just doesn't have any concrete meaning...

I don't really understand that brand name; as the linked photo doesn't show the full branding on all angles, I can't say whether or not I like it. I guess I'll have to see it in person.

I imagine the ''dots'' thing is a reference to providing local links from areas outside of the town, into the town centre. I'm looking at it like another ''Frequenta'' style of branding.
