the standard paper timetable is just to blah da blah, needs updating!.

Would be too costly. If one service gets time revisions for whatever reason, the whole booklet needs to be printed again. At least with separate timetables only timetables for that service will need replacing rather than the whole lot.

I prefer the Stagecoach timetable leaflets to both the Arriva and Go North East ones - at least the Stagecoach ones lists the route.

Newcastle & Teesside have guides too but haven't seen any for South Shields or Hartlepool - anyone know if they've produced these?

I got a Teesside one through the door but never seen them in the bus station!
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2015
A couple of Teesside's newest vehicles were involved in an incident in Middlesbrough Bus Station yesterday, with 27164 attempting and failing to squeeze around the nearside of 27166 at the roundabout. 27166 was stationary and sustained the worst of the damage as the offside rear of 27164 collided with the nearside rear of 27166, ripping off one of the panels. 27164 didn't appear to have sustained much/any damage.

New buses aren't having much luck lately.
Against the Anti-Lee Club.

A couple of minute variations on the 11 ATM, if its a success then times will change and a new registration will be submitted.

Damage can't have been that bad - 27166 was being used as a spare vehicle today

Have to say i hate the style, its to clutted - the above being the example.

Quite a few done so far, 1 in Hartlepool, 3/4 in South Shields, 6/7/8 in Newcastle are a few I can think of that have been uploaded so far. Paper timetables will not be in this format by the way.

Thank god, its a rubbish format.

Most of Sunderland's are done.. however the website seems to think the 10/11 service doesn't exist.

Edit: The 10/11 timetable is now working meaning all of Sunderlands are now in the new style...

RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2015
Those new online timetables are next to useless. The one for the X82 has far less listed calling points. Indeed it goes from Throckley Leazes to Denton Burn which is a full ten minutes later. Ridiculous.

All back to the normal (readable) style now, thankfully.

They did that about a year ago too - remember Michael posting on here about it at the time.

Very odd!

Olympian Update
For the summer holidays, Stockton depot have reportedly stood 16836 down (it is presently parked up in the 'dead row' where 22668 was parked) meaning 16834 is the only active Volvo Olympian in the North East fleet
As, yes, 16833/9 have both been withdrawn from use at Sunderland with the end of the Football Park & Ride. 16839 remains stored at Sunderland while I understand 16833 is at its long-time home of Stockton depot. Both have reportedly been sold on for future use

16833/9 have both been collected from Sunderland today by their new owner, I wonder who that could have been.......

They've also got 35160-62 (and presumably 35159) from Slatyford who in turn have got 39702-5.

34562 looks to be the first Dart withdrawn at Hartlepool.  34568 was also parked up alongside 22455 the other day so may also be withdrawn.
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2015
34566 has also gained a full rear advert, but I didn't see what it was for

Edit: It's for Dalton Park
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2015
Overtook and was subsequently followed by South Shields' new E200 no. 37314 (SN65 ZBO on trade plates) coming home from work this evening.

Branded in some strange 'Connecting the Dots' livery and route branded for services 3 and 4.
