I'm not sure they'll have a proper allocated route at Redcar, just used generally with the rest of the Temsa's on 22, 63, 64/64a and 81/81a

7 Temsa's in should replace 4507, 4510, 4513 and 4515 plus 1303, 1101 and one other vehicle, probably another Dart.
4501 doesn't count as its only a temporary vehicle for the extra PVR on the 81 while the roadworks are causing a (lengthy) diversion.

They need to currently, yes, however if Arriva can't get vehicles to replace them, looking at the Cadets being modified at Stockton, they also may be modified to be DDA compliant. If so, they'll be going for years, along with the ALX300 B10BLE's.

(When I say they need to currently, I mean no matter what condition, because of DDA)

I still like the thought of temsas
I also quite like the ALX300 but I only like the 61 and 12 reg pulsars

The Temsas will be going to Redcar, for standardisation.

That's a lovely thought

Is it me or is this I like this bus which nobody else likes crap is getting a bit tedious now?!

I can swear that all the details you're looking for are on this forum already: http://northeastbuses.co.uk/forum/search.php

3 WiFi MPDs will transfer to Jesmond for the X16 - the Temsas will be going somewhere on Teesside - 7519-21 are going to Belmont - Ashington are getting 'new to the fleet' vehicles for the MAX X20 - we've gone over this about fifty times already!

It all adds up Tommy. If Arriva are getting new vehicles for the X20, they might've got their hands on a good with ADL for some MK1 bodied Euro 5 or even Euro 6 E400s

(23 Aug 2015, 3:23 pm)GX03 SVC wrote They were heaps of absolute crap. Just like the lot of them.
The fact that Durham depot would only ever use them on the 63/64 says it all really as they were deemed unreliable. They were totally unsuited to the 63/64, 20 odd seater buses turning up at school/New College chucking out time had disastrous consequences, just glad they left Durham before they cut the number of Durham City - Framwellgate Moor services.

I don't (nor does anyone else) know what's coming....

It needs to be the same age as what operates on the Coast and Castles otherwise people will just keep using them routes and clog them up. The X20 is supposed to combine and assist with the X15 and X18 journeys.

I thought we'd already established that 6 B7TL's were coming from London, 4 of which will be to MAX spec and utilised on the X20?

As long as the vehicles are to MAX spec, I highly doubt the normal passenger will care about the age of the vehicle, as long as they're reliable and perform well on the route, which I'm sure the B7TL's will do.
