TM Travel have upgraded the former Trent Barton 'Spria' service between Chesterfield and Sutton using Plaxton Centro-bodied VDL SB120s in place of Solos. The pair treated are 796 (YJ56 JYA) and 800 (YJ07 JWU) - which retains its leather coach seats

They have replaced Solos 431 (X631 ERB) and 443 (FE02 KDF) - their future is still to be confirmed.

Not entirely unexpected news that Geldards Coaches in Leeds have entered administration - with services ceasing and now not operating. However Metro have found the majority of their contracted services new operators, albeit temporarily. All of these are school contracts, with all day service 711 (White Rose Centre - Bradford via Pudsey) and peak service X11 still awaiting new operators to be confirmed.

EYMS sent President PL51 LDJ and Titan 202 YTE up for the Great North Run today. Saw the President on the TV but didn't get a brilliant view. Then they were both siting in Washington services when i was heading towards Durham on the A1.

Mobitec - most of Transdev's fleet do. Few exceptions in the York fleet (the MAN E200s, a small number of B10BLEs and the ex-Burnley Presidents).

Quite a number aren't happy with the changes.

Yorkshire Tiger are to gain 10 Optare Metrodeckers which, according to a friend who lives in Leeds, are likely to be for services 231 and 232.

I think it looks rather appealing in the Yorkshire Tiger livery. The Streetdeck (lothian style front [i know they arent streetdecks]) is just as nice though - the front of it is starting to grow on me more although the low height version that oxford have are just eww.
