Stagecoach North East: Rare & Odd Workings - September 2015

There are 3 stagecoach standard buses on service 3 and 13, while 2 gas buses on service 4

Stagecoach in Sunderland Alexander ALX300 MAN, 22082 was on the 16 - saw it at 16.45 on Chester Road, passing the Wavendon heading towards City Centre/Red House.

Wonder if the engineer's are doing checks on the Gas buses, looks to be a few missing today even the spare ones.

Saw two of the older batch of 36xxx series ADL Enviro200s on services 3 and 13 in Hylton Castle / Town End Farm area circa 1800.

22050 is on X34 today. Shame considering there is now a number of double deck vehicles at South Shields, so should not really be seeing single deck vehicles on this service any longer

They only have 3 decker's atm unless some of the recent E400's have arrived at Shields but have yet to enter service.

Yes only 3 decker's ( 19196-97 19642 ) as 19643 hasn't been seen for a good few days.

Incorrect

At the moment they still have 19196 19197 still in service. Along with 19642 43 and 45

Both aureolin and myself discussed how we had seen three of the SP60xxx ADL Enviro400s on the 'E' group of services on Monday (in addition to any of the native North East examples), so this could have only been 19142, 19143 and 19145, based on the fact that you say these are in service at South Shields..?

Yes that is correct those 3 (albeit correct fleet 196xx rather than 191xx as you state) plus also 19196/7 still....for the time being. So 5 not 3

Sorry, I should have been clearer.

South Tyne Lad stated that 19643 hadn't been seen 'for a good few days', hence my response that I was pretty sure I'd seen it on service E2 while I was at Seaburn Bus Rally on Bank Holiday Monday.

Perhaps south Tyne lad has not seen any of the others as he is now back to school
