No, it was a Gemini. I didn't know which Gemini was out on the 57 originally. 

ALX400 (DB250) did a run to Newcastle and back to Morpeth on MAX X14. Replaced late 7517, 7517 has since replaced that run.

One X18 journey is allocated simply "Double Decker", this is until the winter X18 timetable returns. 7517 was on the pits today, plus the Sapphire on standby went out at 1530. There's no other choice than to allocate 7517.

7517 would have been out before 15:30, I reckon, was passing through Bedlington (Red House Farm/Meadowdale end) 5+ late at around 15.50, coming from Newcastle on an X21

Agree though, this morning 7518 was probably not needed on the X21/22.
