Yes, they're the last two Volvo B7/Presidents in "Northern" branding.

With the LED destinations being removed from the DAF SB120s on Driver Training, a front vinyl (similar to the one previously used on the coaches) has been applied in place of the destination screen:

Not many are left in "Northern" now, if you get rid of the withdrawn/sold ones...

Will the Vykings be repainted soon, with them being DDA? but with them coming up to 15 years, not sure, as they could sell them on... a paint job might boost the value up...

I don't have a problem with the size. I just think the 'Training Vehicle' text could have been centered on the vinyl.

Wonder what 646 (and any other Venture SR that carries it) will have its 'Venture into Consett from Castleside up to every 30 minutes' slogan changed to? Still think that a Citaro (if they do go onto the 16/16A) will be too big in terms of capacity.

Not sure, however here's my updated allocation predictions...

- 6 (Newcastle - Stanley) - Citaro
- 12/12A (Newcastle - Winlaton) - Toonlink Omnicities
- 16/16A (Durham - Castleside) - Citaro
- 30 (Stanley - Lanchester) - Citaro
- 95/96 (Newcastle Eldon Square/Market Street - Metrocentre) -  96 - Toonlink.... 95 - scania's
- 808 (Castleside - Consett Academy) - interworking
- 816 (Burnopfield - Lintz Estate) - interworking
- V7/V8 (East Stanley/Annfield Plain - Metrocentre) - Venture Solo Sr
- X30/X31 (Stanley - Newcastle) - OmniDekka

5337/5338 to be repainted to be added to the new PVR's of the 6/16/16A/30
Stanleys Omnicities will head to Toonlink....
97/97A/X97 - Scania's - Until something new or newer arrive.............

Forgot about the 64..... once an hour... that'll be changed in 6 months.... no doubt the area's where the 64 go are covered by another service(s).

The PVR will probables 2... like i said before why didn't they merge the 64/95...

Might have looked better with L plates either side of the text, therefore not needing to 'fill' the screen as much?
Unless there's some regulation over where L-plates can be displayed?

Well, it reads 36A in that section of the map rather than 36. A silly mistake, eh? Tongue

Bit weird that that's the only part to say 36A.

Huh

Is there a 36A?

Its a Vinyl not paint on the Eclipse and the 36A was withdrawn a few years ago now.

There was a 'fad' some time ago to plaster L-plates of various sizes over the front of the training vehicles, but it was pointed out that only the regulation-sized L plate is legal so that's how it is now.
