9119 is on the TEN again, though.

Haha, knew it would end up on there! Bet you the drivers were saying nearly every swear word under the sun when they got off their board.

5239 is VOR at Riverside and as such was unable to transfer last night. Likewise 5293 at Stanley.

5295 is still at Saltmeadows Rd undergoing repaint, and will go direct to Riverside once it's out of the paint shop.

See our fleet lists.

5234 - 5238 are branded for services 12/12A, and 5239 - 5242 (plus 5250/53 already at Stanley) are branded for services X30/X31.

I can't recall ever seeing that being said on this forum.

Stanley
Services 6 & X70/X71 - PVR 10 - "Northern" branded Scania OmniDekka
Services 8/78 - PVR 6 - "Coast & Country" branded Wright Streetlite
Services 15/15A - PVR 3 - Corporate liveried Volvo B7TL
Services 16/16A - PVR 9 - "Durham Diamond" branded Mercedes Citaro
Services 45/46 - PVR 10 - "Red Kite" branded Wright Streetlite
Services X30/X31 - PVR 6 - "Toon Link" branded Scania OmniCity
TESCO Shuttle - PVR 1 - "Northern" branded MPD

Most of the "Venture" network of services interwork with each other, at a PVR of 10 vehicles, and as such "Venture" services V7/V8 will be allocated "Venture" branded Optare Solos.

Some journeys on services 64/95 are operated by Stanley, and these journeys will be allocated a "Venture" branded Optare Solo.

The PVR on services 45/46 has risen by one vehicle to increase layover and running time, which should improve reliability. 5401, which was previously allocated to service X43, will therefore form part of the PVR of services 45/46, and will presumably gain "Red Kite" branding in due course.

Riverside
Service 5 - PVR 4 - Corporate liveried Volvo B7RLE

Might as well give Chester 6020 for a Vyking so we have all Vykings as spares haha...... -.-

Vyking's are some of the best in the fleet aside from the darts and omnicities, I have an urge to ride one, they only are allocated to three services at Riverside now:
17:09 Q3 SAGE-Haymarket
A 95 and a 96

They're no longer allocated to the 95/96 services following the service changes this weekend. Services 11 and 96 will be allocated corporate liveried Volvo B10BLEs and Scania L94s, while the boards Riverside are scheduled to operate on services 64 and 95 will be allocated a Volvo B10BLE (the others operated by Stanley will be allocated a Venture Solo SR).

The dual-door Volvo B7TLs will be allocated to the following services, as they interwork with scholars services:

Service 12 departing Shibdon Bank at 06:51
Service 12 departing Winlaton at 07:04
Service 11 departing Blackhall Mill at 08:55

Knew you'd be happy about another Vyking being based at Deptford! Wink

6020 is a 'float vehicle' - it can transfer from depot to depot without replacement. It's allocated to Deptford at the moment as it was covering for 6085 which was away for GKN mods. When the next Percy Main based Volvo B9TL goes away, 6020 should transfer there.

I thought I was seeing things when a Solar overtook us heading up Houghton Cut on the 20! Seriously them things can't take hills well at all. When they were on the 21 everyone knew how bad the reliability was, friends I know who lived on the route even told me about how poor they were and they hated them.

I think the fleet news will include the transfer of citaros (blue) a few decker swaps and of course toon link ominicity back to Stanley but that's just me we will soon find out however

Wonder how Percy Main are going to cope when the roadworks start on Norham Road when the bridgeworks / traffic light fittings are in progress. And not only this, but when the new Silverlink junction starts, the backlog from the current junction and Cobalt Park Way will be huge with not only the existing traffic trying to get on to the Coast Road along Middle Engine Lane / B&Q, but also all the cars trying to get to the Tyne Tunnel via the Silverlink. Only thing I can think off is that to reduce the impact of the Silverlink Roadworks, then except the 19 and any other buses, the road down to the Silverlink roundabout from Middle Engine Lane to near Ospery Drive (the top entrance to the Silverlink) is made buses only and if things got bad, then the afternoon 309, 310, X39, 22X and 22 runs towards Newcastle could run down there and to Willington Square before rejoining their retrospective routes despite having to contend with the Silverlink traffic which would be far less worse than the traffic heading along Middle Engine Lane with also the cars trying to get to the Tyne Tunnel too.
