Also 5203 is still without any form of branding

Thanks - I will advise the branding company of the vinyls which require fitting.

It is at the terminus of NEXUS' R5 to Rowlands Gill service, (for connections), and would just complete a loop at this end of their current service.

6041 has no branding on the destination blind due to the glass being replaced after an accident on Saturday.

Same as 6037 has no branding on the front after an accident in 2014!

Well, unless GNE have taken a last minute u-turn to retrofit GKN mods on the Cobalt B9s and order Streetdecks instead, then I highly doubt that anything will happen to the B9s at Percy Main. The only other options are as follows and I'll explain further in the predictions thread:

- New buses for the Pronto (Likely)
- New buses for the Red Arrows with various cascades including the Pronto (Sort of likely)
- New buses for the TEN with various cascades including the Pronto (Not likely but could be a possibility)

No them Mercs were 5331-8 which are on various services now.

Was any part of that rumor even true at any stage or did people just realise that there were 8Ā mercs to replace 7 presidents (8 including 6038)?

I know, hence me saying 'at any stage'.

On another note, Tridents 3886 and 3888 need their rear destinations fixing. 3888 displays only the route number in the middle of the display and nothing else. 3886 on the other hand displays the destination both lines of the display but all bunched up on the left so it is difficult to read. I could just make out that it said '828 East Stanley tonight.

Also, 3874 hasn't improved. It is still as bad as ever.

We're aware of those - the destination controllers need to be repaired by Hanover as they refuse to load Profile 11.

Think there was at least one thing wrong with all of the 51-reg Tridents at Stanley as they have non-standard combinations of destinations.
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - November 2015
Initially, 5331 to 5338 were going to go on the X21 but, because of the major reliability issues on the X7 at the time given how premature the service was back then and the fact that single deckers would not match the needs of capacity on the X21, it was then decided not to put them on the Pronto.

But put it this way, I think we all know that the next round of orders will most likely include the Pronto. It's just down to the matter whether or not these will be cascades of a major B9 route or a new order of Street'Wrecks' (or Enviros if we're lucky).

P.S, happy to delve further into predictions if anybody is wishing to but over in the prediction forum to keep the mods happy please. Smile

Wasn't it also rumoured that the X21 would be increased toĀ 20 minute operation when the rumour of 5331-5338 going on the X21 was around?

4904 looks to have had a short shift.
Parked up at a funny angle and with all of its passengers getting off, onto the purple Solar behind it

Well it's obvious.

GKN mods seem to be going ahead as planned
and the QC's axed. Will either mean:

- New deckers for the Red Arrows with cascades going on the Pronto and rest makingĀ up spare and PVR shortfalls (TEN, TTX, Cobalt Clipper, Angel).

- New deckers for the Pronto.

Certainly don't think that GNE will get any ex B&H deckers for the Pronto though. But I don't think we'll get any heads up either way because GNE will almost certainly want it kept tight lipped owing to Arriva's X12, which isn't much of a threat but still.

With 5293-5297 all Blue now, when will they get branded?

Also i think eitherĀ 5337/5338 should move to Riverside.. as they'll have 3 services with Citaro's and only 1 spare....

I'm sure the Durham Diamond don't need 2 spares....
Ooo Friend, Bus Friend.
