1773 is still allocated to Blyth so it should be found on the 1/2/58. Just 1774/5 moved to Jesmond in September for the X16 (hence the regular use of Solos if one or both are VOR)

I thought the X16/33 PVR was 3 for some reason, 1773/4/5.

X16/33 is PVR 2.

1504 making its first non Darlington run for Stockton. Spending the day on a bit of everything in Middlesbrough.

7527 on the X18. Just left Berwick.

The one time I get a Sapphire on this route and it's sockets aren't working!

I believe there's a memo going around saying not to have the sockets on when on other routes than the X21/X22. This means turning them off at Newbiggin when the X21 turns into a 35 and vice versa.

There was a X18 E400 parked at AN earlier. 1330ish.

That's rather silly imo.

Not really because the X21/X22 are Sapphire routes.

The 35 or any other routes are not Sapphire routes.

Understandable, to a point, for the X18, but switching them off each time it switches from an X21 to a 35, what a faff!

So if the passengers never used that service or just moved they know the X21/2 is high standard.

It's only one or two switches in the cab.  Wink

but.....if the drivers forgets to switch them back on, the Sapphire route then has no power sockets.  To me it's a bit daft.

Not as daft as the rule for Sapphire drivers...if a supervisor sees a Sapphire driver not wearing Sapphire uniform, the supervisor must stop the bus and ask why...

Imagine doing that for 6099 or 6100 whenever they appeared on anything but the 56?
Appreciate they are spares, but to pay and then install a feature, that doesn't get used... Seems a bit daft.

Not sure what it saves.

Allegedly down to the "no quibble" money back guarantee that the Ashington public have taken a liking to...

Is there a separate switch for the power sockets on an E400? Wasn't on the Yorkshire ones I drove?

Must be somewhere, they were working on 7527 last week when I was on it iirc, they weren't today, which suggests they'd been turned off?

Back on the X21 today, on the journey I use, what were the chances?! Getting a bit bored of it now Wink

Forgot my charger to check the sockets.

Power sockets arent features of any other routes than the X21/X22...why do they need them on?

Nope the said 4 branded bus was later on 1B (2860) it was only on the x66 because of a rememberance parade road closure on the 26A route which involved the Scania on it being held up for a hour in Richmond

Will be a unbranded vehicle on there for the next couple of weeks after a incident which occurred on 4650 which lead to the bus being a crime scene and was escorted back to the depot by the police
