Worth mentioning that 2808 was on the 17 yesterday too.

Max 1415 on 15 yesterday and 7A last night.

First time I'd seen a X67 u-turn at the north end of the High Street yesterday.

how come a lot of ashington based MPDs are being put on the 35/35a i thought the other three allocation should be double deckers

If a DAF DB250, StreetLite or a Volvo B7TL are VOR, a MPD will be placed on the 35/35a.
If another route is short of vehicles a StreetLite or another double decker will be removed from the 35 and placed on that route, being substituted by a MPD.

Or some tool thinks the 35s should be on minibus rotas.

On Wednesday morning the 7:27 X15 from Berwick, (probably an X20 ALX400) broke down before it left Berwick. Thankfully for the few of us waiting in Belford, Ashington sent up a replacement. Unfortunately it was 1580 and it arrived 40 minutes late. I'm not sure those Streetlites are best suited to cruising at top speed up and down the A1 given the stream of artics that overtook us on the Dual carriageway at Brownieside.

1580 was the only suitable vehicle that could get up there to due to the lack of vehicles that could get up there quickly. 1580 was removed at Ashington on the X20 as the journey it should have operated was taken over by a lead driver.

All was fine until a Sapphire broke down at Wansbeck Hospital. 7518/28 are covering for MAX vehicles on PSV, these have been on since this morning whereas the Sapphire broke down at lunchtime.

Streetlites will only do 50mph.
Good to hear they were able to sort a replacement and still run the service, albeit late, rather than leaving it off completely.

Although not odd, the X75/6 workings today are all original liveried vehicles, in Scanias 4654/8 and Pulsar 1414.

1414 won't be on there much longer, 4652 is about to be replaced by 4648 on the X26 which in turn should lead to 4652 replacing 1414 on the X75/x76

2852 (13a/13b) on 9/10

2863 (9/10) on 13A/13B

2850 meanwhile worked the last X67 from Middlesbrough to Faverdale
