If it isn't the one that goes onto the X20, then it'll be because no MAX deckers were available/Ashington wanted to keep them local.

Other than a DAF/ALX400, they haven't a great deal else to allocate.

4654 or 4658 (think it was the latter) was on the 8/8a.
Frequenta 4 on the 3/3a/3b
9993 was parked up outside Darlington town council building.

Frequenta 13A/13B on the 4
1 solo on the 12/12A along with 1406 and 1414
9993 was doing eye tests and parked the bus there

BIB: From what I understand from the last PVR breakdown document, the 12/12a is booked for 2 EcoCity and a Solo.
RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - December 2015
The F13 on 4s was 2852.
1438 was on X93 too, last M-W so watch out for a MAX B9 on 64s in the morning til it meets the Pulsar again.
RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - December 2015
1438 worked the early X93 into Middlesbrough and has just been swapped off for 7402.

EDIT: 1923 on 9/27/27a

Because there wasn't a suitable MAX or Sapphire vehicle available for this RTC.

I'm sure that you would have liked the StreetLite that could have been allocated........

You'd have arrived in Berwick in a puddle of sweat however, and probably late, they can't get up to any sort of speed on the A1.

If your back was bad on 7481, you'd have been completely out of luck had a Dart turned up!

A Dart would surely break down somewhere along that journey, the Hodgsons Dart I rode today didn't sound healthy, thought I was going to have to walk some of the remainder of the journey as it was making a warning noise and the driver had to rev it like mad when stationary.

Sounds like an air leak

1467 spent most of the day on 5/5a for Stockton.

Ah I wondered which one had escaped onto there as I was double checking the internals on 1404/5 earlier!

I can imagine* a Dart on the X15.

*Imagine being left behind at a freezing bus stop on the A1 between Alnwick and Berwick.

Can we please stop talking about Darts breaking down, it's bring up some personal traumas, I really don't want to reminisce of the times for the 7 became Sapphire, a particular distressing memory was one night when I just missed a 7 in Framwellgate Moor and ended up waiting over 45 minutes for another one to turn up, that 45 minutes was between 5pm and 6pm, in the dark, in the middle of winter. Those were some dark grim times.

Sapphires must be on holiday... or just fancied a third day off? ;-)

Almost. The other vehicles on are 1474 and 1595.

Wondering if it's because they overlookd a Sunday NSA program, including easington colliery.

We've got through easington village, now and the bus is quite full, so an extra couple of seats might also be a factor. I suspect a lot of these people are heading for Dalton park, mind.
