I did chuckle when I saw that pop up, I will try and see them when I am next in Blackpool too - possibly Easter Saturday?

Blackpool Transport are also due to receive some new Mercedes Citaro's soon, it's alleged they will be used on service 5 including passenger announcements, leather seating, free WiFi and dedicated drivers - it is also alleged that they will have a customised livery too (info from Flyde Bus Blog) Must be due very soon as Blackpool Transport tweeted: coming soon to a bus stop near you yesterday https://twitter.com/BPL_Transport/status...3401195520

I was in Blackpool for a week last year and I got to ride this almost every day that week https://www.flickr.com/photos/127079988@...0024272271

Also got to ride these as well

Not sure what Catch22Bus will have on most their services now though, the 6 and 22 are mainly MPDs now I think.

Think my photo taking skills have improved since then.

I didn't see the open topper or catch22bus Renown, but I did get that Alexander PS and the Royale on photo.

Catch22bus were running an SPD around last time I was there, but that's all I seen of them.

Back then they were trading as Oakwood Travel and not much was in the Catch22bus livery.

Sadly I won't be going on holiday to Blackpool this year which is a shame, we always used to stay at Marton Mere Holiday Camp using service 20 to head into Blackpool, over the years I got to ride Leyland Atlantian's and various forms of Olympian's it was brilliant!

Should hopefully get the odd days down in Blackpool and will hopefully get to head to Totally Transport for the first time this year.

Sapphire has now been adapted onto a new vehicle type in the fleet. North West are currently refurbishing a batch of ADL Enviro 300's for service 263 Altrincham to Manchester. They look interesting to say the least, first time we have seen an Enviro single deck in the Sapphire brand. Not sure they suit it as well as Pulsars though

May have looked better if they used the blue colour from the rear for the panel under the windscreen and around the headlights, like they are on the Enviro 400's.

Had a ride into town on my bike this morning as RRS has been going on at Macclesfied station due to Viaduct upgrading in the area and spotted this smart Cityliner. Apparently Mostonian2000 employ a Cityliner and a Skyliner on the contract between Macclefield and Wilmslow. Quite a smart vehicle the Cityliner Mostonian2000 have

It's peculiar that it's being trialled on route 5. The recent upgrade of this service to Citaro operation would suggest it's the route least most in line for new vehicles.
