Well, the official Nexus timetable says Stanley Travel at the top, as seen here. So I'm not sure which timetable you're looking at!

I might be wrong, but it's probably a Nexus mistake when they come around to editing the timetables.

He's probably looking at a printed timetable. It does take time for the revised copies to circulate.

Hi they bought the bus business of ERB Services limited in roughly 2011. The Brown family still own the car repair business. I don't think any vehicles were purchased. The yard is not that big and is shared with Community Transport who have about 8 minibuses and the Brown's car repair business.

RE: Stanley Travel
I don't know if its been mentioned before (or whether it something that has always been present), but when following R2 STX up Busty Bank earlier today I noticed it had a fleet number, 6025.

I also passed a decker in Burnopfield with the fleet number 6021.

Is this a new thing?

Having the fleet numbers stuck on the vehicles themselves is, but the fleet number system itself isn't.

Could use M2/M3 STX then - the Transits.

Seems to be more of a spare vehicle at the moment. I have a feeling that it will get used a lot more when R6 goes.

That's the one we're on about, it did the 812 for a week a couple of years back.

It occasionally covers for a Gemini on a scholars service (866?) in the Bensham area.

What looks like a registration plate with 866 inscribed is put in the front windscreen.

UPDATE: We got it back today. I assume that the white olympian (I think that is the only one left) is due to go soon. DO you reckon they are going to replace it because it seems as if their fleet has been shrinking recently. Also does anyone know why there is a cream coach with BURNSIDE written down the side in blue in ST's Stanley depot.

Burnside is a school in Wallsend, probably contracted

Indeed you did - as usual, our bus passed it at Oxhill/Annfield Plain.

Burnside store their coaches in the Stanley Travel Oxhill depot.
