These service changes aren't about making cuts at all - they genuinely are about improving the reliability of services.
This is not me "absolutely bumming" Go North East, but giving the facts. The PVR of the 5/50 services will increase by one vehicle when the services interwork from next month, as there will be increased running and layover times.
The PVR of the Angel 21 won't be reduced with journeys terminating short at Chester-le-Street Red Lion as opposed to Black Horse. These trips are regularly regulated anyway, which Go North East's various systems would have proven (real time information, lost mileage records, etc). This just allows extended layover periods, in a bid to make the service more reliable.

Services 82 and 82B will each be hourly, providing a combined 30-minute frequency, as present.
