Forgive me for thinking this was a bus forum rather than a fault reporting service?

Touchy subject??

No harm in doing the same thing on Arrivas Disscussion page.

But then you can't do that if you are banned, as most people who have raised an issue are.

Excuse me..? Could you elaborate on that one?

Nobody has been banned for reporting faults on this forum regarding destination displays, if that is what you are suggesting.  Huh

I know that much man Wink Thank you anyway though Smile

Ah, makes sense Smile Guessing 7485 had it's lettering changed immediately then

I thought he meant the Arriva facebook page!

For a 16 year old bus, 7474 really shifts. Briefly followed it and it had no issue reaching 60.

7522 touched 65mph the other day, going down Fisher Lane.

The power sockets must be powering the turbocharger Big Grin - it drained my battery from my battery charger and iPad!

Haha, I know 7522-33 can shift, I was just pretty surprised when I realised just how old 7474 was, especially taking into account it spent majority of it's life in London!

One thing, have they delimited that batch of E400's, sure I saw a sticker on 7524(?) saying it was limited to 100km/h? (Less than 65mph) Although I'm sure I've been on them when they've been doing similar speeds to what you've reported there, as they've been keeping up with/overtaking cars.

I think the Euro 5 E400s are limited to 62mph, though can still make to 65 easily.

I saw that a week or two ago, so unless something has happened to it that hasn't been reported on here, I can't see a reason for it not to be?

Got 65 out of 7534 the other day.
Most of the DLAs will struggle up to around 50, and these VLAs from London are sadly limited at 48mph

Can they not change the lint on the VLAs to a higher speed? There meant to be running express services when there done on the Metros

Just to follow on from this, the legal lettering on 7485 hasn't been altered, as seen here, and there's no visible 'on loan' sign. What are the potential consequences of not changing the legal lettering, and not declaring it as on loan?

It was mentioned way back that if the address (Doxford Int Business Park) is the same then its fine?

Yorkshire is Wakefield iirc

But then, why the need for the paper in 1808?

This is Selby we're talking about. I hope someone at Wakefield realises.

Gathering that Selby may be a bit like Redcar of old? Wink

The legal address for Northumbria and Durham County is Doxford Park (hence why the Northumbria legals are still there). The legal address for Yorkshire is Wakefield (hence why there is a on hire sign in the window of 1808).

EDIT: Just realised that 7485 is at Selby and doesn't carry Yorkshire legals or on hire signs lol Blush

From what I hear it's a bit of a holiday camp! Engineering should be pretty good though, it's Yorkshire! They even manage to keep VDL Geminis on the road...

So the B9TL's should be in perfect condition Wink Not that I'd expect a B9 to be in a bad way anyway to be honest!

Must be pretty good if they keep those VDL's going!

There are excellent views of the depot as you approach the railway station from the west.
