A Cumbria and North Lancashire Enviro 300, The Stagecoach 685s are run by Carlisle depot.
Though I believe this said E300 is a Maryport example though I may be wrong.

I believe you are correct

Some transferred down from Oxford and Dunfermline last month to replace B10Ms and ALX300s I think. Overall they have quite a few 22761/3/4, 22873/7/9, 24116/8/9 and 24120/1/2/3/4 which are MAN Enviros and then the two for the 685.

Yes, but they will sound awful due to them being overworked, not recently I had 635 on a 74 and I was nearly deafened by the noise

Not certain if this is the right region thread, if it isn't sorry but I need some help with something...

I photographed the Dalesbus service 830 in Richmond Market Place earlier. I'm uncertain as to whether the bus photographed below should be classed as being with Batterby's Silver Grey or Traveller's Choice? The what must be said rather vague legal address comes back with Traveller's Choice address and Dalesbus claim this service is ran by Traveller's Choice.

Travellers Choice bought Battersbys out of administration so it's technically owned by Travellers choice.

Thanks. What do you think I should note the operator as in my title and description for this photo?

I would just leave it as it is nothing wrong with the title really as it could be considered both really

Personally I'd go for whatever fits in with you titling system so far. Looking at your Flikr it seems you tend to go for the trading name of the operator (eg Stagecoach Teesside) rather than the legal name (eg Cleveland Transit). In this case it appears Batersbys is the trading name and Travelers Choice is the legal name.

Of course, it's your photo so label it how you like. There's certainly no right or wrong, call it a chocolate fudge cake if you wanted to.
RE: Cumbria & North Lancashire Bus Operations
New buses for the 555 coming soon, check the @StagecoachCNL twitter page for a preview as I can't post links from the app.

I wonder if stagecoach would make stagecoach gold routes here like Newcastle-Middlesbrough/Sunderland/Hartlepool
RE: Cumbria & North Lancashire Bus Operations
I highly doubt it as they seem quite content just doing cross town/city runs, and would have to do something spectacular to tempt passengers away from already established routes especially between Newcastle-Middlesbrough/Sunderland
RE: Cumbria & North Lancashire Bus Operations
Very smart! Hopefully they will have the NSAs/Commentary the 555 does now.

Are the S reg open toppers DDA compliant? If not I'm guessing the 599 will be upgraded next year too, hopefully with some newer buses.

The only open top Tridents that are DDA (according to the fleet card) is Kendal's 17692 and all of Carlisle's 3 (17489/90/5). However, 17012 is reported to have been modified so it's a case of wait and see - as 17036 at Barrow has been modified.

Ah right cheers, seems as though they might stick around then. They are quite nice anyway.
RE: Cumbria & North Lancashire Bus Operations
When does the Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 MMC's enter service?

nvm, found this on the "Stagecoach Facebook page"

Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire is gearing up to launch a fleet of 12 luxurious buses on the 555 route between Keswick and Lancaster. The new buses, with their striking Lakes theme, are specially designed to be wheelchair and buggy accessible and include a cleaner, greener engine to help reduce carbon emissions.

The launch will coincide with an increased timetable with more frequent services which start on the 3rd July 2016 but our Cumbria team is offering passengers a sneak peak before the buses go into service.

Hop on board to check out the Italian designed luxury seating, free Wi-Fi, USB charging points, as well as being in with a chance of winning free travel!
Ooo Friend, Bus Friend.

The Enviro 400 MMC's for the Lakes Connection 555 entered service on Monday 4th July 2016. I was in the Lake District yesterday and they all appeared to be in service.

It looks quite comfortable, and in very good condition (internally and externally), for such an old bus! Wonder if Stagecoach have spotted their spelling mistake for this display yet? Should be 'village'!
