Looking at the R&O Workings thread, I think that it's a wise choice to abandon the GKN mods for the Fab 56 and Cobalt Clipper. Given the nature of the 2x routes, if the need for deckers arose somewhere (Red Kite becoming a fully double deck operation etc), then the mentioned routes would be ideal candidates for StreetDecks due to the stop / start nature plus the potential fuel savings that could be acquired without any expensive modifications or downtime.

Looks like displaying bus reversing, badly, whilst moving.

Cheers. One for Hanover's attention!

Cheers.

Based on the route testing I undertook, I think this is likely to be down to the fact that there's some stops on the 56 route which are very close together. If the bus is travelling quite fast between those two stops, it won't have enough time to announce the full thing.

(24 May 2016, 10:32 pm)Jimmi wrote Something I've noticed on Google Maps is that for Go North East, the bus stops now list the brand most services carry rather than the route number.

I think this is a bit confusing for just about every branded service, especially the brands which has more than one service number, such as the 28/28A or the 93/94.

I know it's been doing this for Arriva North East for a little while but there's list the brand and service number eg. Sapphire 7 and MAX X66.

The list has been updated to show brand and number such as Citylink 57, Citylink 58 etc

Dan, BHA's 6002 NSA is messed up around Houton. It just started sluring a word or two, which was absolute gibberish. Enroute to Newcastle.

Just had two kids vaping right next to me on the 86. I'm really not impressed since they weren't being discreet about it. I can't complain without the ticket info (used all day), but not a happy bunny.

I think 5424 also entered service around that time too, By what I'm seeing id say its around 2 a week entering service, Though that of course could be wrong.

It looks like all the ones on the fleet list which say "Unallocated", have entered service.

There is no specific preferred output for Chester-le-Street. I think the board is booked any Volvo B7TL President.  It interworks with a scholars before doing the 265 from Framwellgate Moor to Seaham, then light back to the depot.

8261/71 have both lost the Northern branding but you can  see where  the vinyls have been removed, have 8262-65 also been debranded ?

3943 was on the 39A this evening, seen at 5pm in Sunderland City Centre heading towards Pennywell.

Nope. 4946 was on it.
I seen 3943 on 39A so it means the 1st peak run to pennywell is ran by Washington

The bus number and time should be enough to ID the route, driver etc.
