Also the Sunderland Echo is reporting that after 4pm, the metro will run every 5 minutes - METRO
Metro trains run regularly, with passengers advised to plan their journey in advance, leave extra time and check on-line for the latest updates at www.nexus.org.uk.
There will be a Metro train every 15 minutes during the day between Newcastle and Sunderland rising to a train every five minutes after 4pm, with the high-frequency service continuing after the event to make sure large crowds can get away from the venue safely.
All passengers going to the match should use St Peter’s station only, which is the nearest station to the stadium, before and after the match.

Go North East is providing enhanced bus services around the Stadium of Light, including areas such as South Shields, both before and after the match.

The extra teams should only be from the National league, NOT premier league "B" teams.

Comparing this situation to Kevin Keegan's time in charge at the club is valid, but rather than his first arrival as manager, our mind turns to the Swindon home game and his "not like the brochure" line.
 An upturn came after the manager asserted his position and stared down the board - hopefully it's that element that will be repeated this time.

Next year the final is in Cardiff so might try and get there as it would be a great experience. Hopefully a English team will be in it though!
