On Sundays, 43/46/52/53 all interwork as followed:
46 Newcastle-Polwarth Drive
46 Polwarth Drive-Newcastle
52 Newcastle-Cramlington
43 Cramlington-Newcastle
43 Newcastle-Cramlington
53 Cramlington-North Shields
53 North Shields-Cramlington
43 Cramlington-Newcastle
43 Newcastle-Cramlington
52 Cramlington-Newcastle

The 44 and 45 work on their own on Sundays, as does the 54.

As for the B10BLEs, they are still only branded for the 52/53.

In the above photo branding is visible advertising 4 buses per hour Newcastle-Quorum

That 'fare advert' has been there for a while.

Yes, the 44/45 used to interwork on evenings and Sundays at Dinnington. Until the changes in May however, when the 44/45 times were swapped in one direction (I can't remember which) so one bus now does 44s all day and one does the 45 all day.

This is why I find it baffling that they changed them? If they were interworking with another service it might have made sense but this change basically means they use the same number of buses on the service, but cut the passengers choice in half. Now Brunswick/Wideopen passengers can only use 45 and Hazlerigg the 44 whereas in the past they could use either. Now they could face up to an hour wait.

Interestingly, after brining this up with Arriva, their commercial department said "If there is an opportunity in the future for services 44 and 45 to revert to the 'loop' arrangement in the evening and on Sundays we will implement this change".

And as if by magic, 1324 joins it.
