(20 Oct 2013, 6:00 pm)aureolin It's certainly the way to do it in my opinion. I personally find it better finding new places to photograph from. Dan and Peter Barclay have got a couple of cracking shots of the new Mercs on route today.

Since I be out in my car next Sunday getting the convoy of buses to the Stadium of Plight. I should hopefully get a few photos of the Citaros in random places along the route.
To those who don't want to photograph in bus stations, don't ignore them completely, you never know when a bus station be gone and people want to see photos to remember what it looks like. I certainly don't regret taking photos in the old bus stations of Hanley (Staffordshire), Colchester, Eldon Square (Underground), Derby, Wolverhampton and Hamilton to name a few.
Also to add to those who have limited time to go out photoing (Usually people with jobs or having to go to school), then bus stations are useful for the high turnover of vehicles. Me, I try and get a nice mix of locations.
As a farewell to the waggonway DAF's heres 3 videos I did on 2 of the best sounding ones in the bunch.

(21 Oct 2013, 9:20 am)Dan We need to come up with ideas for 8306-09 now, don't we? I guess having such a massive upgrade for the 39 just didn't stack up.

On my first 4 - quite impressed with the seats (comfier than previous purchases).
The stop announcements will get tedious with the physical amount of them - if doing a fair length journey.
Burnmoor is suddenly pronounced bowerenmorr apparently too!
4961 has been on the 4 this morning too.
Not sure what is missing though.
The emergency door is located between the wheelchair area and first forward facing seats, meaning a tad more leg room.
There also seems to be an extra seat between the driver and wheelchair area.
Edit: forgot to add Mitie are currently on their rounds changing timetables and have got some done already
Stop announcements - I've heard people complaining that you can't hear them because they're too quiet, and other people complaining that they're too loud and tedious.
It seems to me that the RNIB and other lobby groups have fought hard for this, so announcements are here to stay and will probably reach every bus before too long.
So we'd better just get used to it!

(21 Oct 2013, 10:18 am)JP6004 Actually the buggy bay is behind the driver
(21 Oct 2013, 10:30 am)Andreos1 Is it? Never noticed it.
The usual seat behind the driver, the wheel arch/luggage rack and rear facing seat attached onto wheel arch was there - then the wheelchair area or have I got that wrong?
