An 02 plate decker went past me earlier. I heard it before seeing it. Talk about noise pollution. I believe it was 39** but not 100%

Did the GNE 937 run tonight?
A green B7 is parked up on the hard shoulder of the A1 just north of the services with its hazards on and the driver behind the crash barrier.

Question: Aplogies if this has already been answered. The eclipses had the GNE Corp livery applied with the skyline moquette. Has this now been dropped from the livery?

Only one had it applied I believe, Only recorded 4978 having it when they were on the 5.
It adds a bit change to the Plain Red and id like to see it on all Generic vehicles.

I hope South Tyneside bus network gets improvments like in Stanley & North Tyneside.

Hope we get Metrocentre Link or for Stagecoach to extend from Jarrow upto Heworth.

I notice 6134 has lost it's hooks for it's roof removal ability.

Just thought I'd point out that the 28B has both 'Chester-le-Street' and the 'Via' points scrolling.

It isn't set to do this in the programme.

Chances are whichever bus you saw this happening on is set to the wrong profile, which means that the display will be trying to load the data for a different size of display, hence the scrolling.

Of the five Scania OmniDekkas delivered on Sunday, 6138 (GX03 SVG) and 6140 (YN04 GJJ) should be repainted prior to entering service, but 6136 (GX03 SUA), 6137 (GX03 SVF) and 6139 (GX03 SVJ) are likely to enter service at Stanley in Brighton & Hove livery, following initial inspection at the depot.

This is due to the requirement for additional double-deckers in the fleet over Airshow weekend, when Go North East is also operating a Metro Replacement service as well as a shuttle service at Port of Tyne.

Does anyone know where to obtain the paper format bus timetables for the hexham network area. The bus station used to have a stand inside a shelter but no longer. The library and tourist info dont have any either

The stand is now inside of the employee office. Not sure why.

There's usually a Go North East employee (an older man with white hair) around to assist customers in the bus station - I'd approach him and request a paper timetable, if I were you.

Last I heard, there weren't actually any timetables at Hexham, and that was about 4/5 weeks ago.

I can't remember why there was such a shortage though.

There is.

I was at Hexham on Monday in the staff office and there was plenty in stock, on the usual stand.

Like I say, don't know why the stand was in the office rather than in the bus station.

Probably for the reason I said, there weren't any for a long period of time, as people were taking ridiculous amounts.

I asked a friend at Hexham Depot if he could get me some, he invited me to have a look for some and if I could find some, I'd need a medal.....

Why do buses no longer run further up central motorway then up past the Art Gallery into Newcastle?

I can't answer your question but on a similar note, I've noticed that buses coming in via Redheugh Bridge tend to now go along Railway Street and up Marlborough Crescent onto Clayton Street rather than continuing up the Boulevard and turning right at the first set of lights onto Clayton Street that way (just after the coach station). Have drivers been instructed to do this or is it purely down to choice?

They miss the stop near the art gallery now so it can't be out of choice for what I reported.

Redheugh Bridge routing is probably due to more favourable traffic light sequence.

As for Hexham bus timetables, the newspaper shop accross the road used to stock timetables.
