RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown
Couple of updates.

Solo's KX04HRJ and KX04HRL have now left us - gone to Steptoe Scotia in Motherwell.
Mini Pointer Dart EU06KOW has arrived, with another E300 due this week.

Info from Stagecarriage's Facebook about the new 84 and 87 timetables from August 1st:

New timetables for our service 84 & 87 from 1st August 2016. We hope to have them on our buses by the end of this week.

Service 84 - Stillington to Stockton
This service will be diverted from Carlton via Letch Lane & Hardwick estate (Easington Road, Piper Knowle Road, Scurfield Road) - and will no longer serve Thorpe Thewles.
We are also extending the route from Stillington where buses will run in a one way loop via Bishopton village back to Redmarshall, providing new links to Stockton for people in Bishopton.
Buses will continue to run hourly through the day.

Service 87 - Norton to Hartburn
This service will be extended from Norton via Junction Road & Roseworth to North Tees Hospital. Unfortunately we are no longer able to serve Hartburn and the service will be curtailed at Stockton High Street.

By the looks of things, the 84 and 87 will interwork.

They will indeed, as well as interworking with the 56 Prior Pursglove college run. The college bus drops in at 0935 in Stockton, coming out again at 1506 at North Tees. Likely to be an MPD and Enviro 300.

RE: Stagecarriage of Grangetown
I know am going to sound stupid but why they buying more buses when they don't need them cause 87 84 will be working together so only need 1 bus on that so why buy 2 E300s and 2 MPDS

84/87 will interwork from Monday 1st August but will need two buses. The other reason for the recent acquisitions has been to replace some of the older vehicles in the fleet with the two 04 reg Solo's and the ALX300 leaving the fleet.

84/87 will be 2 buses - the MPD and one of the E300s. The E300svwill also work the Prior College 56 service.
And as stated by Mr Atkin earlier in this thread:
  • The E300s will also work the X56 from Whitby to Prior
  • The Solo will be used on the 225 and 82/83/88
  • The ALX200 will be the back-up for the 84/87 all day board
