Haven't noticed the difference between the 09s and 15 plates, Though there 6 years younger so is expected.

if you have a ride on 7515 or 7516 then you notice some difference for example speed difference and ride quality.

Pretty sure it's at Jesmond? It'll be coming up two years soon since the thermal incident it had at Corbridge!

It was last noted at Gardiners of Spennymoor I believe. And it was only last year it had the incident - given there's photos of it from Feburary last year in service.

Why would they have done all that work on the interior just to sell them off?

Could be up for sale for other Arriva Divisions , Though I doubt that one.

Will also be interesting what replaces them at Darlo if its true, As there's quite a lot of them there.

There's 15.

From what I've gathered the Omnicitys at Darlington aren't in the best state, probably doesn't help that they have been subjected to some tough routes over the years: 93/X93, X26/X27 and X66/X67. Notably they haven't been allocated to the X26, X66 on a Sunday for a fair few months now presumably due to their poor reliability, X26/X66 normally get allocated 1406, 1416 and two standard Pulsar's whilst the X75 (and Hurworth 12's) are allocated a Solo.

I believe 4646-4659 were all based at Durham for services 43, 49 and X1 (X1 was what we now know as the X12) when they were new in 2005. Some later passed to Redcar for the 63 then later the 93/X93. Sometime in 2011, five examples transferred from Durham to Darlington for the X66, a further four came to Darlington from Redcar in 2013 when the X93 became double deck operated but four left Darlington not long after when the 13 reg Pulsars arrived. 4643/4644/4645 started life with Arriva in Liverpool.

I've got a model of 4644 in the John Lennon Airport bus

Dare say X66/X67 will be worthy of investment in the future if the growth they're seeing continues. Not sure where you would send the Scania's though? Nor who would want a swap at the present time!

Frequenta branding on 1435

1434 and 38 have also now received this branding... I can't work out why they haven't included James Cook Hospital on it!

Don't think they were new for the X41, I only remember really seeing old double deckers like Leyland Olympian's and MCW Metrobus' on there although the X41 was an infrequent service from what I remember and I only really saw what Durham services used when heading to/from school in Durham (I was 11 back in 2005) meaning I never saw the X41, so I had to go off photos . No idea but could there possibly have been a few spare examples to allocate anywhere? Remember seeing one sat outside Sedgefield Cricket Club on the X27 to Newcastle the MetroCentre one Saturday (I will have been on the 213 to Sunderland).

I'll be honest, I ain't totally certain for stuff around that sort of time, I mainly remember the X41 towards the end of it's life when it was running only two trips between Durham and Newcastle in each direction between school runs using old double deckers.
