From what I've gathered the Omnicitys at Darlington aren't in the best state, probably doesn't help that they have been subjected to some tough routes over the years: 93/X93, X26/X27 and X66/X67. Notably they haven't been allocated to the X26, X66 on a Sunday for a fair few months now presumably due to their poor reliability, X26/X66 normally get allocated 1406, 1416 and two standard Pulsar's whilst the X75 (and Hurworth 12's) are allocated a Solo.

No idea but could there possibly have been a few spare examples to allocate anywhere? Remember seeing one sat outside Sedgefield Cricket Club on the X27 to Newcastle the MetroCentre one Saturday (I will have been on the 213 to Sunderland).
