(04 Aug 2016, 10:09 am)Andreos1 The 4 does too. Goes in to Co Durham, but starts/terminates in T&W. Network One passes are valid if boarding and alighting within the T&W sections.
(04 Aug 2016, 7:20 am)Adrian Ive received the following from a local councillor. It looks like councillors and presumably other stakeholders have been sent the following comms.
Looks like Get Around weekly and monthly tickets are decreased, 90p fares now £1 but peak scrapped, and day tickets frozen.

(04 Aug 2016, 10:03 am)Jamie M Is 353 the only bus to head out of a zone and terminate back inside it? Airport is inside T&W, The next stop is inside northumberland, whilst FLE is back in T&W.
How does this work with network one passes et cetera?

(04 Aug 2016, 10:34 am)South Tyne Lad I've never seen anyone board in Prestwick while on the 353, There's no timetables up there either. And the Bus Stops are just Wooden Poles with the old style Arriva Flags there from the late 90s early 00s.I did, 4 days ago.

(04 Aug 2016, 11:16 am)Michael Any truth in some of the Omnidekka's coming to Deptford to replace the Vykings?Never heard that one before, what's even wrong with the vykings? I've been on about 4 of them on the 9 and they've all gotten shifting easily, albeit with a huge noise.

(04 Aug 2016, 11:16 am)Michael Any truth in some of the Omnidekka's coming to Deptford to replace the Vykings?Aren't some going to Chester-le-Street? Think I heard that said before but not 100% on that. Think the Vykings can stay at Deptford as I think they mainly only do short 9's and peak time 265's, also Chester-le-Street have Lolyne's that need replacing.

Next question, what happens to the 327? 2 of the 4 buses are Loynes. I'm interested to see the proposed solution.
(04 Aug 2016, 8:18 am)Andreos1 DCC have a list on their website, showing which schools have a supported service and which don't. There are others apart from Park View and St Bedes (such as Hermitage), but I have no idea if GNE provide a commercial scholars service to those schools.
The ironic thing is, that commercially it could backfire - quite a number of those schools have GNE services operating in the vicinity who will be essentially undercutting the scholars service.

Serious question.
Why is it that the Langley Park bound 13's and 14's head a slightly different route out of Durham City Centre? From Millburngate the 13 turns left and heads past the old County Hospital and St
Leonards School to reach the roundabout outside County Hall (like the Arriva 64 & peak time 7's do) whilst the 14 heads straight along Framwellgate Peth to reach the roundabout outside County Hall. I've never understood why this is the case.
(04 Aug 2016, 3:12 pm)Jimmi Serious question. That used to be the case with the Arriva 63/64, too. it's an odd one.
