It didn't evade me, Driver was canny and let me in the cab and get various photos of it from different angles while on Layover at Chapel House. That will be on Flickr after.

Also got 16034 at Balliol Buissness Park on the X63, That's going on Flickr too when I get in.

With the new E400MMC's starting to enter service has any of the older E400's been withdrawn, if so which ones?

Are these transfers temporary?, i thought none of E400's were stopping in the NE.

What are the E400MCs like then compared to normal E400s - any good?

That's tomorrow sorted then, got an appointment in Hexham in the morning so probably get one of the X84/5's to Newcastle after that.

It has been mentioned that the e400s will NOT see use at Stockton, however some MANs may come from Slatyford (preferably 22031  )

The 07 reg buses saw some canny mileage and some drivers cained them especially on the 62,served us well and a fond farewell(19163 19193)

19206 Is currently at Sunderland in the process of being re-painted
39706 is there over the pits
34562 is currently parked in the far right hand garage around the back (I'm sure that's just a storage garage)
There is also a Shields dots E200 parked up in the depot.

Do we know exactly where 19141 -162 will end up as apart from Scotland and maybe Carlisle, everywhere is South of Newcastle.

19141-8 are bound for Cumbria and North Lancashire - reports suggest they are heading to the back end of beyond otherwise known as Barrow
19158-63/93 are bound for Stagecoach South.
Just 19149-57 whose future allocation is not known - was talk at one stage Lincolnshire and Yorkshire were due some.

I hope you enjoyed your visit to Newcastle. I was pleasantly surprised by the new E400MMCs, and it's not a bad run up to Killingworth on the X63. The lakes there make for a cracking photo spot too.

Thanks Adrian I struck lucky this afternoon with the MMC's always good to head north for a change must ride the X63 for the views in the future !
