Well I can tell you now, that there is never 3 Deckers out during the day on the 24. They obviously change the buses over at peak times in Durham. I'm never out earlier enough to see the first departures of the day but know that during the afternoon/evening a few runs are Deckers so I assume they change them over in Durham. It's rare to see a decker during the day on the 24's.

1512 on same diagram today, 0935 and 1405 from Middlesbrough to Newcastle, they trusted me with it this morning Very nice and still has its nice new bus smell

It's the 24. A Prestige, a Trident and 2 Omnicity are 4/6 vehicles allocated to the 24 today. By the looks of it the pulsars are either VOR or allocated elsewhere as I haven't seen one today. Deckers don't usual do daytime 24's a trident/prestige appear to be covering for Pulsar it would seem.

Durham had Pulsar 1473 on 56/57A today, and Omnicity 4643 was on one of the Framwellgate 6's this morning seen in Durham at about 0815 as I was leaving on X1, not sure if that works onto 24s etc though.

4643 was on a 6/42 board, did the 1110-ish 42.

Think Belmont have 4 Omnicity, three are generally allocated to 24's I think so I suppose then one is usual a spare.

i saw 3 coastliners on the X4/5 yesterday, then saw a quorum branded Gemini on 308, Blyth logic!!!! Its nearly as good as Percy main!!

These awards (as in any industry) are nothing but an annual ego re-alignment for management. Not to mention the awards dinner (senior management piss-up) afterwards. I don't know why they were short-listed, and quite frankly I don't care.

If only companies focused as much on looking after their customers and improving staff morale as they do going after pointless awards.

I agree to a certain extent, but equally, events like the UK Bus Awards are a chance for lots of staff who don't normally get fancy days out to be recognised and that has a really good impact on staff morale

Whitby found a use for Sainsburys bus 1759 last night by sending it for a trip to Middlesbrough on the 1616 service X5 Seen in Guisborough on the return trip as I was going the other way...


Also, appearing in Middlesbrough at 1937 was Ecocity 4802 on the last X66 (which is on a service 12 board)

7464 was on the 57A this morning. Seen approx 7am heading towards Hartlepool.

7478 was also on the 56/57/57A/86 today. 7477 was on the X1/X2.

Are the Sapphires out in Service yet as I haven't seen any photos online and I thought they were in Service from Sunday just gone or have I got my dates mixed up.

The original launch was due to be in early November but has now been put back to December due to a "slight misunderstanding", there are 3 Pulsars delivered to Jesmond so far.

That's a shame as was I planning on going to Durham/Darlo Tomorrow to catch them, looks like that trip is postponed for a while, I thought there would of been more than 3 Delivered by now as been almost 4 weeks since the First one was Delivered. Thanks for informing me tyresmoke you have just saved me £10 in Bus Fare.

The X-GGO Darts remain in service on the 7 for the time being. I will let you know when I have a confirmed launch date for them Adam.

Rare workings from Stockton today as a result of a publicity photo shoot...

New Pulsar 1512 started the day on service 9, and was replaced by MPD 1755.
Pulsar 1492 was also involved, having started the day on short 27's, it ended up on service 21A (I had it for 4 hours this afternoon, makes a nice change from the usual Prestiges!). It replaced Prestige 4062.
Also due to be involved (but in the end wasn't...) was Pulsar 1454 which spent the day tootling around on service 7, normally the home of mini Darts and Cadets and the odd Prestige.
Somehow Cadet 1909 ended up on service 21A too, replacing Prestige 4001.
Centro 1924 was used for the last service 5 to Whitby at 1745, having been on 15's earlier and presumably replaced at some point.

Extremely rare working from Darlington today: 'X1 The Best One' branded VDL/Pulsar 1404 is on Service 75/6 to/from Barnard Castle! Left Barnard Castle at 15:30 for those interested, on top of that, was on 76 so must have been about twenty minutes late!
