Looks like a cow on Sunday had a greater impact on @Virgin_TrainsEC than today's @RMTunion strike.
Hmmmm

To be fair, if managers were staffing the trains, there won't have been much pen-pushing going on in their offices.
Huge disruption there!

Maybe, but to the people travelling who needed to get where they were going, hardly any disruption, which as people looking from the outside in, is the main issue.

VTEC are creating a Customer Panel.

There were tweets about it a few weeks back.

Interviews and assessment activities (!?) for applicants are taking place on 28th November.

Just a head's up - apparently the 1830 off EDI to KGX (due 2052) is booked as a class 91 and the website suggests it's running in reverse formation between EDI and NCL. Could be an opportunity to catch a 91 over the High Level.

Aircraft flown on:

744, 77W, 772, E145, E190, E170, E175, E195, A319, A320, A320NEO, A321, A321NEO, A330-200, A330-300, A340-600 763, 752, 733, 737, 738, CRJ900, CRJ1000

Thank god for that, I was dreading going Edinburgh on Saturday while the strike was on.

Booked train tickets to Gatwick for my trip to Jamaica, annoyingly Thameslink is down on 28th with it being Bank Holiday weekend so I have to go from Kings Cross to Victoria and then GatEx to Gatwick. An expensive £177

Has anyone done the 2000 KGX - SUN service? How do the logistics work in Sunderland? I'm giving it a go in a few weeks' time.

Runs as normal to Newcastle (usually Plat 4) where it then goes to Sunderland before changing ends and heading to Heaton.

VTEC launched their TrainMapper today.
It has been building up behind the scenes, with version 1 going live to customers today.
