It's only while they do the work at Neville's Cross - to operate it like this all the time is a waste of resources as the 48 ends up with 18 minutes layovers in Durham every trip and the X46 almost likewise.

Definitely, they ate both Knackered, but 1514 started making a really loud Engine noise last night, driver didn't want to take it out last night as there was a warning light on. The only good Darlington ones are 1513 & 1516.
