Hopefully will find out why at the Stockton Council bus forum on 29th!

You won't as I am away that day in East Yorkshire  Wink
Unfortunately the funding for it has ran out, and we can't keep it running as nobody uses it.
The 88 will continue as normal!

Do they have two Mercs or just this one?
Saw one on a Prior college run earlier in the week (Thurs or Fri am), but didn't get reg details.

It will have been this one

That's one of three to join our fleet. There's a 52 plate and another YN03 (DFV?) - I'll double check tomorrow lol

Yes, I quite like it too.

I think it's a shame that the bus wasn't painted in two-tone blue and then there would have been less need for as much vinyl - you can see quite a bit of the red bus, when just vinyl is used.

He's getting the red grills and panel gaps filled in before it properly hits the road. The Merc is on promotional duties with freebies at Teesside Park later this week too.

I believe “Teesside” is to rebranded back to “Teesside Park” at some point in the future hence our bus is branded for when that happens

Yes, but I suppose the red front at least shows its a Stagecarriage bus if its used on other services, or if other buses stand in for it on the X8.

A citaro would be overkill on that!

The bronze is very smart, I must say. It's one classy looking bus.
