Finally, wonder if they'll just take the spare roles at depots, which have presidents?, supposedly they'll start to arrive in January... wonder if they'll just follow on after the last Citaro is done? Edit: Then again, The Toonlink Omnidekka's don't have WIFI as of yet...

Supposedly 30 of them eventually, far more than Presidents, could see the end of the B7TL Gemini. Just getting light refurbishments, would expect single door conversions with that too. |

We'll find out if the Toon Link will get anything to replace the Omnidekkas if the changes to the X30/X31 in January involves the X30 being rerouted away from the low bridge.

Unless things have changed, the Omnidekkas will be staying where they are. President and Vyking replacement it was said, works on numbers too. High height LJ62*** the first 13 due, odd for a spare role if as above.

Saying that might be used to make up PVR on CC and a few spares for washy and dptford with the view to have cascades displace presidents |

High height LJ62*** the first 13 due, odd for a spare role if as above. Looking at the fleet list there 14 Volvo B7TL Presidents, 1 Dennis Trident President and 10 Volvo B7TL Vykings remaining in the fleet. This would leave 5 B9's from London remaining available to replace 5 Omnidekkas, plus if the Volvo B7TL Geminis are to become available for cascade to replace older deckers in the fleet as a result of the B9's entering service at Washington and Chester for example, then this would allow further Omnidekkas to be withdrawn. In theory all the Volvo B7TL Geminis will be available for cascade once the B9's from London and Angel StreetDecks have entered service, so I may not be far off with the above. 10 B9's to Riverside to replace Vykings 8 B9's to Percy Main replacing Presidents - 1 Omnidekka from Percy Main to Stanley replacing 3889 9 B9's to Chester replacing Presidents + 2 B7 Geminis 3 B9's to Washington replacing B7 Geminis 7 Volvo B7TL Geminis to Stanley replacing 7 Omnidekkas at Stanley - (Note there are 7 Toon Link Branded Examples) |

Little has been said about them since they were announced internally. Bits obviously filtering though on a driver level now. |

I think they'd bin off the B7TL Gemini to Ensign if I'm honest. Scanias I expect will be better MPG too. |

The Scanias are in terrible condition, personally felt unsafe when I got on 6133 on the 6 about 6 months ago going around Dipton etc towards Newcastle, windows were shaking the lot, compared to the B7 Geminis which are 4/5 years younger. Washington have done a cracking job in maintaining 3941/3942 and bringing them up to the standard of 3943 performance wise since transferring from Riverside, 396/65 at Chester on the 21 are cracking also. |
