Thanks

Looks like all the B5LH's are now in "Coaster", hopefully this speeds the Omnicity repaints up... wonder if there's much difference to the "Blue Arrow" brand on the Omnicities.

That's probably quite optimistic - 'as soon as possible' is probably a bit closer to reality, but it'll probably be March time at the earliest before everything is changed over to the new style.

Still at Stanley, on the Cathedral Bus today.

Handful of buses at Deptford and Washington have already been updated ahead of this weekend's service changes.

The majority of services operated by Deptford and Washington will have the displays updated in the new style from Sunday. Handful haven't been done just yet, and none at Peterlee so far. Chester-le-Street have had a couple updated to the new style and again these will be updated from Sunday. Riverside have had a few more changed over, and all of the services which were trialled originally have had the fonts updated into the same style as the Angel buses.

Very welcome addition too in the sense that the WiFi blobs have been fitted to the front and nearside. Nothing on the offside though (as displayed on that photo).

5264 has the 'Recharge your batteries' tagline, and 5337 has the 'It's our people' tagline.

Saltmeadows Road are now applying the feature symbols to buses undergoing fleet livery repaint - these obviously being some of the very first ones getting done. Anything that's been missed over the past few months should be done by the external branding company as and when they catch general vinyl repairs over the next few weeks.

Just wondering if it is safe to carry on driving a merc when it’s back end is nearly on the ground and the front of the bus looks like an aircraft carriers take off ramp pointing skywards. I was on a crusader 27  in Hebburn this afternoon,it was scraping the tops of the road humps, must be damaging something under there I told the driver,he reckons the suspension was not working properly, and he seemed happy enough to carry on driving, that’s why I ask the question,is it safe to do so.

Do these suspension problems alter the way the bus holds the road when stuck

One of the tomato soup Solar's was also there. Think it was one of the acquired Solar's rather than a native one.

This bus will not be in service until 3rd Feb, to allow drivers to first undergo training on the hybrid aspects of the vehicle.

4991 - now withdrawn having suffered defects uneconomical to repair.

I believe the Euro 5 modification/upgrades will be transferred into another bus - not worth doing for everything, but unavoidable in this instance. Likely to be 5202.

Only 6 "Black Cat" Scania's left now, might as well repaint them back to "Go North East", Tongue

When the B9's arrive from Blackburn, will 6146 move to Stanley allowing a B9 to go to Crook?

With service changes happening on Sunday, what is likely to be withdrawn or moved around?
