RE: The Bill
Working from home today and during a break, I put the Telly on and found Micky from CID, playing a con in Doctors.
Hasn't changed one bit and still has that habit of scratching his head at any given opportunity.

I hope he's there on an undercover-op with the intention of rumbling a ring of counterfeit celebrities.
RE: The Bill
The fella who played Eddie Santini is in tonights Midsomer Murders.

Going from the tan he has, he spent too long in the resort after swimming back to it, on that holiday company advert!

He also did a stint in EastEnders as local gangland boss, Andy Hunter.

There was a lass on Casualty the other week who had a brief stint in The Bill as some Drug Referral Worker.

And Don Beech's on-screen daughter in Eastenders,
ended up playing a copper on The Bill.

I never normally watch Eastenders but saw the copper. It was doing my head in trying to remember who he was.

Awesome.

Another tenuous link to The Bill.

Terry Perkins has had a sudden career shift mind, from The Bill to being a participant in the Hatton Garden robberies. Quite a change in appearance too.

Undercover perhaps?

She was a right 'rum un' in The Bill.

Haven't seen much of her in Corrie, but it took a while to put the face with the name when I did see her initially.

What's her character like in Corrie?

Don't know really as I only catch it every now and then at my parents' house.

She's Sally Webster's sister and she seems like a nutcase from what I've seen.

Speaking of Sally Webster, her real-life daughter is in the television adaptation of Snatch.
RE: The Bill
I've just found out that flame-haired songstress La Roux, is the daughter of long-time The Bill actress, Trudy Goodwin!

Who knew?!

I do wonder if June Ackland's uniform was 'Bulletproof'!

I was sure I mentioned that in here somewhere but, then again, perhaps not. I was aware of the fact though.

I've had a look, but can't see.
Haven't watched much of The Bill recently, but have been enjoying Classic Corrie.
It's currently summer 1988, but autumn 1987 saw Mike Baldwin/Susan Barlow split.
In the following week, he became a bit of a playboy and had an affair with his mates Mrs.
His mate? Jack Meadows.

Jack returned a few years back as a con-man involved in fleecing Gail and Audrey.
Still as wooden then as he was in The Bill and more recent Corrie.

Jack Meadows also stars in Bread as some sort of wannbe gangster alongside the future Jim McDonald.

There's definately mention of Jack Meadows in Bread in the thread.
Read it just yesterday when looking for the June Ackland/La Roux post.
No mention of Jim McDonald appearing alongside him though. That's a new one.

One of the best.
I've been watching through multiple series of The Bill during lockdown, and his scenes with Burnside are brilliant.
