Worth visiting if you're after coach photos, often over 100 coaches visiting from all round the country!

Not according to somebody who works there. It is Saturday only and it will use Deckers so i assume it will use S2 and S4 STX.

How will the deckers fit into the stands at the sites?
Not sure open toppers will be too popular at this time of year.

It's only running to New College Durham, as an additional Park & Ride service, same college GNE ran the PR5 from for the Lumiere event. Arriva will continue to run the PR1/PR2 from Belmont, Sniperley and Howlands, those services won't change.

Ah right.
Got you.

Didn't realise the college were doing the same for this - automatically presumed it was from the P&R sites as duplicates

No, just the aforementioned two.

It's not free but I think its only 50p single. Free to use with an Explorer or Park & Ride ticket.

Edit: Its £1 single fare! http://www.durham.gov.uk/Pages/Service.a...iceId=6251

It's not bad, because that £1 will get you there, and back to the bus station which will be handy if you've got shopping.

I'll be getting a 3 Zone+ Buzzfare, which will cost me over £7, I don't mind walking up as it's only a 5 Minutes Walk from the Shopping Area.

Yeah I will be using the 50, I was also planning on going to Consett/Stanley to catch the Ventures and the Yellow Oympians, Basically killing 2 words with one stone.

Stanley had the Nexus branded MPD on the 452/968 combo this morning.
Not sure if it was still doing the same shift this afternoon.

It sustained £15,000 worth of damage but is repairable. It was due to the driver excessing the speed limit so he is been made to pay some or all of the costs.

(14 Dec 2013, 6:48 pm)andreos1 wrote Does anyone have any info for this rtc?

It sounds as though it was pretty serious, to cause that much damage

It was on its way back to the Depot after finishing its run on the 14. At the S-Bend in Langley Park it went round the first one and as the driver was above the speed limit didnt manage to go round the second one and instead went head-on into a lampost.

Good job there wasn't anything coming the other way nor anyone hurt - apart from the drivers pride!

2 of 3 ex-Yourbus electric solos are in the Stanley Travel depot. They have been stripped of their Lindisfarne Gospels panel branding but still have the top half over the windows. However, they cant do a full shift as the trip from Stanley to Durham, the days shift and back to Depot is approxiately 70 miles and the battery charge lasts for 65 miles. Therefore, a driver needs to take the 3rd one through to displace one that will then go to Stanley to be charged. They will then take it back down to Durham and displace the other one leaving 2 well-charged up buses for the rest of the day. Very awkward i must say.

Do you know what sort of charge time they have?
Haven't checked it out, but Durham - Hetton mustn't be too much different mileage wise as Durham - Stanley.
Wonder how Yourbus managed it?

Yourbus used to change one vehicle at lunchtime, the other one had less mileage on its diagram so I believe used one vehicle all day.
