No positive ID, but from what I can see it appears to be one of either 780, 782, 790, 791 or 792.

780. It's just here for a Contactless advert to be applied to it I believe.

A Washington Indigo Solo and a Coast & Country Streelite have both had their white destination displays replaced with orange ones.

(27 Nov 2018, 3:23 pm)deanmachine wrote A Washington Indigo Solo and a Coast & Country Streelite have both had their white destination displays replaced with orange ones.

686 had a tree hit (and damage) the front destination during the high winds a few months ago. The unit has now been repaired and when Washington's VOR permits, bus will be booked in to have the white display put back in.

5407's case was damaged last week, so as to avoid any potential water damage, the unit was removed and replaced temporarily by an amber display. This has now been repaired by Hanover and returned to Go North East yesterday, so should be fitted again soon.

5390 will be having its white LED unit removed while at Saltmeadows for repaint (it arrived there this morning), which will be kept as a spare to hopefully prevent things like this happening again in the future.

Will 5390 be repainted into corp or a new promotional livery or branded?
Also is 4942 withdrawn?

It's being repainted white, and will receive another promotional livery.

Question,

Is the 2331 Sunday Evening 310 from North Shields to Norham Road North worked using a bus of the Coaster or 19 instead of a Cobalt Clipper branded B9TL?

I think it is operated by a Coaster (2216 from Kibblesworth rings a bell)

(15 Nov 2018, 5:48 pm)Rapidsnap wrote Just read in Buses magazine that Go North East are going to be used for shake down trials of a London spec Optare MetroCity EV that was on display at Euro Bus Expo before it goes to operate at Go-Ahead London.

So any idea which route it be used on. Maybe try it out on the Sunderland City Connect since I believe that does need bigger buses during term times.

Other route suggestions for it could be Indigo North Tyne 40/41, Black Cat 39, 34 / 34A, 29, 33 / 33A.

Wonder when this will arrive?

A few on 56 on Saturdays, one does the 939, another does the 17:36 X5. Apart from that just School Runs.
