Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - April 2019
What is used to work the 23:30 57 from Newcastle to Wardley on a Saturday evening considering that GNE also still have the late one running to Hadrian Park on a Saturday?

Also, would it not make more sense to push the last 310 back to 11.25 and scrap the 'abnormal' 57 run?
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - January 2019
Didn't get fleet number, but there's seemingly a Panther LE on trial on the X9/10.
Next arrival in to Newcastle.
Checked fleet lists on here, but nothing seems to be showing.

Losing track with all of these demos!

Wonder if this is a sort of endorsement for ADL Enviros for future fleet plans?

You never know. They'll be better than the lumbering Geminis for serving the villages in the Holderness that still have a supported service.

Was on the 22.20 310 from Newcastle before. Good loads with the times being pushed back 5 mins plus the additional stops in Hadrian Park.

First run into Consett tonight, with the exception of buses transferring to riverside.

Was it ever confirmed what was moving to Deptford to replace 681, 689 and 690, as they're heading to Washington.

Just passed the 2 and it now has the Galliries instead of Washington on the front.

It should change prior to getting to The Galleries like the Newcastle bound services do at Gateshead to indicate the exact terminal point.
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - January 2019
Can't say I'm a fan of these 2 line destinations returning. Just not as easy to read when the bus is approaching from a distance.

Seems like GNE will be using 6000 for the city site seeing.......stagecoach are going to be using their open topper on a coastliner service from Whitley Bay to North Shields.

Hopefully if GNE go on to secure this service for a number of years they may invest in Streetdeck open top like those in Edinburgh........or perhaps this is one of the 33 DD on order.....with the 6000 being back up......specially if Newcastle planning low emission zone in city centre
