This is the first I’ve heard of it. Electric buses could also possibly go on Durham Diamond Services anyone’s guess at the moment.
So:
11 electric buses for the Red kites - 45 and 46, leaving the 47 separate
Cascades:
10 Streetlites to Riverside replacing the Green Arrow Scania's
---------------------------
11 single deckers and 4 Electric deckers for the Red kites
Cascades:
10 Streetlite to Deptford, replacing the Scania's
-----
14 Electric deckers for the Red Kites + 2 spare
Cascades:
10 Streetlites to Green Arrow
4 B9's remain at Stanley to replace the Omnidekka's, Omnidekka's to replace the older decker buses in the fleet.

(21 Mar 2019, 5:35 am)L469 YVK wrote Lets look at the double deck PVRs
- Fab 56 (14)(16 with spares)
- Red Arrows (13x)(15 with spares)
- Tyne Valley Ten (16x)(18 with spares)
Therefore, the only 2x services that add up to 33 vehicles in total are the TVT + Red Arrows. And it's unlikely that GNE will re-increase the Red Arrows back to every 10 mins.
My prediction is as follows based on the TVT + Red Arrows getting new buses with spares as well:
- 6071-83 to Consett for Red Kites
- 6100 to Consett for Red Kites
- 6084 stays at Riverside incase Tachographs are re-introduced
- 6043/44 to Consett as spares
- 6045/46 to Percy Main as spares
- 6047/48 to Deptford as spares
- 6099 to Crook as spare for X21
Then:
- 6001-07 & 6049-55 to Consett replacing 6149-61
- 6149-61 & 6118-21 to EYMS

(24 Mar 2019, 11:25 am)Michael wrote Aye i agree, i do wonder if any of the single decker routes get double deckers, the frequency will be dropped to accommodate the increase in seats, which may not be needed? The low bridge on the route of the 60 may exclude that route from being upgraded to double-deck, though, unless we fancied a few more buses like 6000!
example - 60 gets B9's - drops to every 15 minutes

Thankfully there’s no Streetlites in this order.

Not sure if that's hinting at another Wright product or not , hopefully not those horrendous Wright StreetAir :p
