It will probably be simalar to the hybrid allocations  at Walkergate which is half desil E400 half hybrid on each route that has the hybrid allocation

What was the reason to put gas buses on the 23. Have Sunderland lost some buses. If not why now

Think it's so Evening Journeys can use them, same story with the 4. Most likely for fuel saving...

I don't normally mention gas buses on the X24, but all 3 boards are gas buses, those being 28011, 28035 and 28037.
Will there ever be a replacement for 24001-3, especially with the possibility of the X24/X34 interworking with each other?

Guess the answer we are all awaiting for is which depot will the X34 be transferred to?. If Sunderland a big chance of X24 interwork ING and the possibility of all year Sunday service (hourly each route). If Walkergate get X34 then same situ as now unless X24 also moved.

The X34 currently isn't down to change in June according to Vosa so could just be staying at Shields for the time-being

I've not seen a single Omnilink all week. Couple of days this week it seems to have been a full gas bus allocation.

Was a suggestion on a Facebook group that one of the Omnilinks was off the road awaiting a new engine.

Don't know if anyone knows this yet, but you can now track which vehicles are operating a particular service on Bus Times

According to Bus Times:
-24001 has not been seen since the 5th of April
-24002 has not been seen since Thursday
