RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019
(31 Aug 2019, 9:30 pm)Michael wrote Only 7 Versa's, PVR for the 35 is 8... shame because i think the Scania's would be better as spares etc... Those 2009 Versas are only Euro 4, so no good for the 35 (as every board has at least one journey which is secured as Euro 5). The 35 will now be operated by Mercedes Citaros on Sundays, as many fleet livery as possible followed by the remaining Wear Xpress examples yet to be painted after that. This reduces the mileage operated by these Scanias, and aims to improve reliability on Sundays. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk |

Ah right, shame, would of thought the Scania's would of gone! Apart from the movements which have already kindly been post by Stanleyone and Citaro5326, have anymore happened?

The 12/97 are also Citaros today, meaning that the only Scania L94UBs out are on the Loop 93/94.

My love (?!) of them is well documented and I've been of the opinion that they should have gone years ago. A few Sundays off shouldn't affect their mileage too much. It's not as if those Scania lumps have got much of a life beyond GNE. 'Illegitimis non carborundum'

St Bedes require 11 double Deckers, 2 of which work on to Service work. 6915, 6916, 6917, 6918, 6919 and 6932 are dedicated to scholars, taxi and V11 |
