(05 Sep 2019, 3:19 pm)N391OTY wrote Has Go North East lost the 151 scholars service, as I have just seen 4922 in the old standard livery (red with blue and yellow bits) on that service today ?

As far as I am aware, this vehicle was sold to A-line Travel some time ago.

A-Line is operating the 151 now, so that would make sense.

With the shortage at Percy Main, could they not send 9073/9074 from Hownsgill?

Washington no longer has any fleet livery deckers in the allocation, so what is running the peak time X1/X1A trips?

Sure I've seen it a few times in the past few weeks, could possibly been a app glitch

Has DB (Arriva) announced anything about selling any of the UK bus divisions or is it just up in the air rumours?

E400s will arrive 1st, service changes for X30/X31 on 29/09 so that might be linked Streetdecks more likely November, although no internal briefing on the date.

What are the changes?, nothing on the GNE site yet?, and 29/9 is not that long away

Edit: looking in the upcoming changes thread, the 6 and 6A are also changing on that date with the 704 getting withdrawn

I'd say the changes to the 6 & 6A will be the later journeys being re-timed as several users have picked up on the later journeys from the Metrocentre being badly timed for shift patterns.

If that’s the case with the 6a, they inter work with the X30 so they’ll need to change as well

At most, the X30 would be re-timed by 5 minutes towards Stanley and 10 minutes towards Newcastle. Maybe something like this:

Newcastle(6A): 18:55
Stanley(6A): 20:08
Stanley(6A): 20:15
Newcastle(6A): 21:24
Newcastle(X30): 21:30
Stanley(X30): 22:06
Stanley(X30): 22:15
Newcastle(X30): 22:51
Newcastle(6A): 23:00
Stanley(6A): 00:08

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - September 2019
Cam amyone point me in the direction of where i'd find out whats happening with bus on Tuesday for the cycle tour of Britain? Its leaving gateshead and going through low fell, lamelsy, whichkham and winlaton and roads are close for 2.5 hours in those areas. Just cant find anything on GNE website about any diversions?

Martijn Gilbert has confirmed on Twitter that EY coach 91 was brought back lastt night and its going to Deptford depot for new school contacts.

What fleet number will it gain, and is it a permanent move or just temporary until new buses arrive allowing the appropriate cascades?

Somewhere in East Durham perhaps? Peterlee/Seaham area?

County Coaches had Headways stuff in the past and full size coaches were used on those contracts.
