Buses generally go via teams because it’s quicker than via pitz soccer and they can drop down the centre link if needed.

Although it’s non stop, it still has to be registered a certain route to take.

From the couple of onboard videos I've just watched on YouTube of the new x30s, neither had their NSAs working.
Have the x30s, x21s and all 309s/310s got their NSAs working yet?

The X30 I was on last night had the NSA for every stop from Stanley to Newcastle. The do stop on the long journeys to Consett and 6340 never had them on the times I've been on it

Rode on 6338 on Thursday and didn’t announce every stop but they appeared on the LED screen.

Is the PVR of the X30, 4 ?

If so does this mean the allocation consists of the 3 Green X Lines Enviro's, and 1 black spare.

As for the other spare, when all buses are on the road, is this likely to be allocated to the Red kite services with that bus brand being the future intended cover bus for all Xlines services at Hownsgill?

6336 is due to be tomorrow’s black allocation

I was on 6338 on Wednesday and it didn't start announcing properly until Sunniside, it would just say "Next Stop" but never announce the stop, was still displaying on the screens though.

Shame, as I've said before I find the V3s are far more comfortable than the SmartSeats they decided to spec. Although if it has enough leg room, I might still prefer it over the brand new ones!

Seems strange to repaint them when the Yutongs are still 8 month away.

It was in for accident damage repairs, requiring more or less a full repaint anyway. Pointless repainting green and replacing all of the vinyl, for the sake of around 6 months when they'd be repainted in fleet livery anyway (really they're likely to be painted before the new buses come, not after).

You can see some photos of the panels on front and nearside replaced following repair on the Tweet below:

Might as well get all the repaints done now, on the Saltwell Park buses and other routes, While Wrightbus is starting back up, as i would imagine, they won't start to deliver the new buses until the new year.

I would think they'd want to finish removing obsolete brands such as Blue Arrow and Wear Xpress.

Indeed, that is the plan. The only reason why 8345 was done was because it was off service anyway.

Sorry didn't realise the extent of the accident damage. I take it Washington's citaros will get done to coincide with the delivery of new vehicles for the X1...

The 4 won't get the B9 cascades due to the low bridge it crosses, so i think the Citaro's will hang on the Connections 4 branding for a couple of years yet.

Yes I know the B9s are cascading to the loop. I meant the 4s are 6yrs old so I imagine they will go for repaint to coincide with delivery of the new buses on the X1
