Either way, the E400 demo was out on the X10 today and in to the evening at least. 

I passed it heading north and it didn't look in any particular hurry. 
It was running late according to my calculations. It hadn't hit Ron Perry and should have been at Peterlee approx 10mins prior.

Some pretty heavy delays on the X9/X10 this weekend likely down to the road works and closures at Testos and bits of traffic around Newcastle, one I caught yesterday was about 15-20 minutes late leaving Newcastle and was 35-40 minutes late by the time we cleared sitting in a jam at Testos, think they ended up adding at least one extra bus into the mix (likely 5498) to keep things moving

The driver (or vehicle) didn't look keen to be making time up if that was the case. 
Even with the 20min timetabled layover, this run (would've been 1700 ex Boro), was struggling.
We didn't catch up with the 1600 at all, so I presume that one was running close to the timetable or had been cancelled.

The Enviro got the two little Constantopolous's talking about boobies inevitably!

Need to get a ride, to see what it's like at speed.

Is it true that GNE Streetdecks will arrive from the 1st week of January?, heard on the grapevine!

Hopefully it is true, It'd be nice to actually know I'll be getting on a Streetdeck on the X21, I thought the allocations were supposed to get better after the repaints were finished, but we still seem to be getting the scrapings of the scrapheap! (yes, I know mechanically they're great, but the seats on the Omnidekkas are certainly not suitable for a 2 hour journey!)

Latest team briefing says “hopefully news soon” on the 31 due and other work agreed prior to wrightbus demise. Don’t think we’ll see them this year or the associated cascades.

Did they start the modification on the existing StreetDecks? I'm sure I read that they were going to take place before the new ones arrive back before they went into administration
