Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2020

RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2020
According to Bus Times MAN E300 39703 is at Sunderland Depot, presumably for repaint.

When will vehicle repaints into the new livery begin?

Have there painted 36978 into new colours?

So most buses will be this colour scheme in the future?

11501 will be the only one to carry the mosaic design. Most will carry the colours though.

What are the longer routes that will use amber?

I expected Stagecoach to introduce an express livery, similar to Go North East's X-lines.

It'll be there to be fixed up, tested and sent back like sister vehicles at most NE depots now.
A number of NE vehicles are on loan to Highlands to cover

Would imagine the X24 and X34 would be contenders for orange. Metrocentre Shuttle could well have the potential to go green with dedicated stock. Depends how NE feel on vehicle flexibility.

I hope there is a re-think on the application of the green.  What was going through their heads with how they've applied the front, and even the cant rail on that E200MMC  is beyond me!

It's a Hartlepool one, always has been. May have been used to transfer parts of some description between depots.

Stagecoach highlands E300 27590 currently at South Shields depot presumably for M.O.T or repairs overspill from north of the border.

Principally shared between 1, 12, 22 and 38 but could turn up anywhere.
