Appears First are once again borrowing from Dawsons Rentals - two E200MMCs are on loan to Olive Grove, 44693 (YX18 KNM) and brand new 44691 (YX20 OCE)

[Image: 49626720133_7698f80349_b.jpg]Untitled by trackyman56, on Flickr

A further E200MMC on-loan from Dawsonsrentals is 44692 (YK68 UKT) - somebody will recognise that registraions Wink
44691 is a short example, the other two are the longer variation
They are intended for use on the 9 (Sheffield Angel Street to Darnall, Littledale Estate) and the 56 (Nether Edge to Wybourn via City Centre) although they have wandered onto other work already (44962/3 are both reported as having worked 208s to Dinnington on Saturday)

Stagecoach Yorkshire

26029 is the second Rawmarsh E200MMC to be repainted into new fleet livery - launch repaint 26026 is now back in Chesterfield paintshop for correction work to take place.
Also repainted is Pointer Dart 35236.

(27 Nov 2019, 1:55 pm)Kuyoyo wrote Some slight changes, only 8 Gold-spec Scania E400s are due here from Oxford - so far transferred are 15534/5/7 (VX59 JCY/Z, JDJ) with sister 15536 (VX59 JDF) also expected.

(06 Dec 2019, 9:59 am)Kuyoyo wrote Also now confirmed are 15609/10 (OU10 BHA/D) which have also be confirmed as Barnsley-based for the X10.

Further reduction means only 7 Scanias have arrived from Oxford and are as followed:
15534 (VX59 JCY) at Chesterfield
15535 (VX59 JCZ) at Barnsley
15536 (VX59 JDF) at Chesterfield
15537 (VX59 JDJ) at Chesterfield
15609 (OU10 BHA) at Barnsley
15610 (OU10 BHD) at Barnsley
15611 (OU10 BHE) at Barnsley

All have received repaints into Stagecoach Gold livery - all have gained 'Stagecoach Gold' lettering without any route branding apart from 15535/611.
RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
Have any of the 21 electric Metrodecker EV double-deckers to arrived at York yet for the Park and Ride services?

What are they replacing?

I know that at least 1 of them have been built and was doing driver training I believe. I’ll need to find the photo. They will be replacing around 9/15 Citaro artics with the rest remaining for the 2(?) as there’s a low bridge on the route. Could be also be replacing some Eclipses urbans (08 Regs).
RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
Plan is indeed for the P&R work to be entirely Electric Optares bar the 2 which needs high-capacity vehicles but due to the low bridge on Leeman Road, it can't be allocated deckers.

Interestingly, 69364 the only repainted Urban so far ex-Park & Ride (although it has been running with the Yellow York Bus advert for a while) received the original style Olympia livery rather than the revised version now used in York. It's said that some of the Urbans are off to South Yorkshire for use in Sheffield.

EDIT: Whoops, it appears 69370 has also been repainted - into the revised 'York' Olympia 2 livery.

It could easily be re-routed and avoid the bridge.
It hasn't always operated via that route and for the sake of a standardised fleet, changes could be made again.

I don't understand their insistence on keeping it as is.

RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
Transdev Yorkshire

A few vehicles have been named:

Harrogate have named Volvo B5TL 3640 'Ray Stenning' following his 70th birthday a few days ago - he is of course the head honcho of Best Impressions and this is one of at least 10 vehicles across the country now named after him
Keighley, meanwhile, have named their fleet liveried Versa 240 after the hero of the hour, Captain Tom Moore - and included suitable branding both externally and internally to celebrate his outstanding fundraising efforts. Keighley is his town of birth
Interlinked with that (as he will be video-linked guest of honour later today), a Harrogate B7RLE has been branded up to celebrate the outstanding NHS workers as 'Harrogate Heroes' and will be making its debut on the road today as the Nightingale Hospital in Harrogate opens. Each of Transdev's fleets will be gaining an example of this for their local town.

First South Yorkshire

While the fleet is reduced due to Covid-19, E400 33657, 33710/2/3/8 have arrived from Greater Manchester following the end of their loan to Diamond North West with the sale of Bolton depot. Unlike the last batch transferred across, these are now parked in reserve at Doncaster depot. They will not be used until a PVR increase as and when things start to return to normal. They will replaced 5 Volvo B7TL/ALX400s for disposal.

They’ve refurbished most of the ones that are staying now.

In other news CT Plus have temporarily taken on Leeds Bradford Airport service 757 for two months until Transdev take over after Yorkshire Tiger withdrew early at the end of June. Transdev take over both this and 737/747 on 30 August. Tiger’s Isle depot is apparently going to close, the Bradford contracts are out for retendering and the Leeds Trinity contract will likely go elsewhere in September.

CT Plus have loaned two Enviro 200s YX11AEC/HPL from Powell’s to Leeds for this contract - in return 4 ex Lothian Gemini’s are on loan to Powell’s at Hellaby to help with a Tram Replacement contract in South Yorkshire. The first time Stagecoach has not operated these?

RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
First South Yorkshire

Following a reorganisation of management, South Yorkshire is now part of a large 'First Midlands  and Yorkshire' division managed from Leicester.
As such, there's been some reorganisation of fleet and plans for a new look for the operation.
All information (and images) below comes from the 'South Yorkshire Transport Forum'

The majority of Doncaster's fleet will be receiving the fuchsia fronted version of First's 'Olympia 2' livery (as being adopted by York minus the coloured front) of which the B7RLEs transferred from Leicester, which are amongst the first to receive the 'Doncaster's Clever Buses' branding (they are undergoing repaint beforehand however)

A small number of Doncaster's fleet will be receiving the below livery for use on cross town service 15/15a (Edlington to Clay Lane via Town Centre), based on the classic 'Doncaster Transport' livery as carried by B9TL 37230
.png IMG-2592.png

Sheffield will also be rebranded using a three-tone Blue livery which seems to tie in with the 'Buses for Sheffield' logos.

RE: Yorkshire Bus Operations
Arriva Yorkshire & Yorkshire Tiger

Following the end of the Leeds Bradford Airport 'Flying Tiger' services, the fleet has been spread about:

VDL SB120/Wright Cadet 621 and VDL SB200/Wright Commander 1410 are of course on long-term long to Arriva North East
Optare Versa 791-5 have transferred to the main Yorkshire fleet at Castleford depot, repainted into 'Sapphire' livery and will see use on the Leeds-Castleford services 167/168
E200MMCs 1070-75 are operating from Wakefield Belle Isle depot, currently 'on loan'

Also transferred from Yorkshire Tiger to the main Arriva Yorkshire fleet are VDL SB180/MCV Evolution 663-665 (YJ60 GFV/X/Y) and 666/667 (YJ10 DFA/C), which are now allocated to Selby depot. In exchange, Castleford's Optare Tempos 1307-12 (YJ09 EYL/M/O/P/R/S) have moved to Yorkshire Tiger at Huddersfield Waterloo depot - the Tempos were originally due to move to Selby but their poor steering lock proved to be the downfall to that plan.

The lose of the Flying Tiger work also saw the company vacate the Idle depot (Transdev have now taken over the lease) and hand back the Bradford area contracts - therefore ex-ANE Solos 2803-5/7/8/11/14/29 have transferred to Elland depot, reuniting them with sisters 3020/1 (formerly 2826/31) although at present, 2805/7/29 look to be VOR judging by the Bus Times data.

Good use of the Versas as Sapphires for routes 167/68.

Not all the Tempos have moved yet.  I even rode 1312 on route 159 yesterday.  I have seen a report that 1311 is also still at Castleford but the others have indeed moved.
